About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 22:1-71 Judas Betrays Jesus & Peter Denies Knowing Him

Judas Betrays Jesus & Peter Denies Knowing Him

Luke 22:1-71          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew [close,] which is called the Passover. And the chief priests, & scribes sought how they might kill [Jesus;] for they feared the people. [Psalm 31:13 *For I have heard the slander of many. Fear was on every side, while they took counsel together against Me. They devised [plans] to take away My life.]

Then, Satan entered into Judas, surnamed Isacariot, being [1] of the 12. And [Judas] went [on] his way, & [talked] with the chief priest & [leaders,] [about] how he might betray [Jesus] to them. And they were glad, & [contracted] to give [Judas] money.

And [Judas] promised, & sought [an] opportunity to betray [Jesus] to them, [without being in] the [presence] of the multitude. [Psalm 41:9 *[Yes, My] Own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, [who ate] of My bread, [has] lifted up his [heels] against Me.]

Then, the day came of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover [animal] must be killed. And [Jesus] sent Peter & John, saying, Go, & prepare the Passover [for] us, [so] that we may eat [it.] And they said to [Jesus,] Where [do] You [want] that we prepare [it?]

And [Jesus] said to them, *[Look,] when you [have] entered into the city, a man, [carrying] a pitcher of water, shall meet you there. Follow him into the house, where he [enters into.] And you shall say to the [master] of the house. The Master, [a.k.a. Teacher, says] to you, Where is the [room for guests,] where I shall eat the Passover with My disciples? And he shall [show] you a large furnished upper room. Make [it] ready there. *And when they went, & found [it] [like Jesus] had said to them: & they made the Passover ready.

And when the hour [had] come, [Jesus] sat down, & the 12 apostles with Him. And [Jesus] said to them, With [longing,] I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I say to you, I won't eat [of it] anymore, until [it's] fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.

And [Jesus] took the cup, & gave thanks, & said, Take this, & divide it among yourselves. For I say to you, I won't drink the fruit of the vine, until the Kingdom of God shall come.

And [Jesus] took [the] bread, & gave thanks, & [broke] it, & gave [it] to them, saying, This is My body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.

Likewise [Jesus] also [took] the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the New Testament, in My blood, which is shed for you. *But, [watch,] the hand of him, [who betrays] Me, is on the table with Me. [Psalm 50:19 *You [give] your mouth to evil, & your tongue [assembles] [words of] deceit.]

And truly, the Son of Man [goes] as it was determined. *But woe to that man, by whom He is betrayed! [Mark 14:43-46 *And while [Jesus still spoke,] immediately, Judas, 1 of the 12, came, & a [large] multitude with swords & clubs from the chief priest, scribes, & elders, [along] with [Judas.]

And [Judas who] betrayed [Jesus,] had given them a [signal,] saying, [Whomever] I shall kiss, that is He. Take Him, & lead Him away safely. And as soon as [Judas had] come, [Judas went right away] to [Jesus,] & [said,] Master, master, [a.k.a. Rabbi, rabbi;] & kissed [Jesus.] And they laid their hands on, [a.k.a. seized, Jesus] & took Him.]

And [the disciples] began to [inquire] among themselves, which of them it was, [who would] do this thing. And there was also [an argument] among them, which of them [would] be [considered] the greatest.

And [Jesus] said to them, The [Gentile's] kings, [exert] lordship over them. And [those who exert] authority upon them, are called benefactors. But you shall not be [this way.] But let him [who] is greatest among you, be like the younger. And he [who] is [the] [leader, [be] [like] he, [who serves.]

For [which] is greater, he, who [sits] at [dinner,] or he, [who serves?] Isn't he, [who sits] at dinner [considered greater?] But I Am among you, [like] He, [Who serves.] You are [those, who] have continued with Me in My temptations, [a.k.a. tests.] And [like] My Father [has] appointed Me, I appoint you to [the] Kingdom. [2 Peter 1:11 For you shall be abundantly [supplied] [with what you need to enter] into the everlasting Kingdom of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.]

*[So,] that you may eat & drink at My table in My Kingdom, & sit on thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel. [Revelation 20:4 *And I saw thrones, & [those,] [who] sat upon them. And judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] was given to them. And I saw the souls of [those, who] were beheaded for the witness [about] Jesus, & for the Word of God. And [who] hadn't worshiped the beast, [nor] his image, & neither had [they] received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands. And they lived & [ruled] with Christ 1,000 years.]

And the Lord said, Simon, [a.k.a. Peter,] Simon, [Look,] Satan [has] desired to have you, [so] that he may sift you [like] wheat. But I have prayed for you, [so] that your faith [doesn't] fail. And when you are converted, strengthen your brethren.

And [Peter] said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with You, both into prison, & to death. And [Jesus] said, I tell you, Peter, the cock, [a.k.a. rooster,] shall not crow this day, before you shall deny [3 times] that you [know] Me.

And [Jesus] said to them, When I sent you without [a] purse, [bag,] & shoes, [did] you [lack] anything? And they said, Nothing. Then, [Jesus] said to them, But now, he, [who has] a purse, let him take it, & [also] his [bag.] And he, [who has] no sword, let him sell his garment, & buy one.

For I say to you, that [what] is written must [still] be [fulfilled through] Me: And He, [Who] was [considered] among the transgressors. [Isaiah 53:12 *Therefore, I will divide Him a portion with the great, & He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He [has] poured out His soul unto death. And He was numbered with the transgressors; & made intercession for the transgressors. And He [bore] the sin of many.]

[Indeed all] the things [written] [about] Me have an end, [a.k.a. shall be accomplished.] And they said, Lord, [see,] here are 2 swords. And [Jesus] said to them, It is enough.

And [Jesus] came out, & went as he was [accustomed,] to the Mount of Olives. And [Jesus'] disciples also followed Him. And when He [arrived] at the place, [Jesus] said to them, Pray that you [don't] enter into temptation.

And [Jesus withdrew] about a stone's [throw] from them, kneeled down, & prayed. Saying, Father, if You [are] willing, remove this cup from Me. Nevertheless, not My wile, but Your [will] be done. And an Angel appeared there to [Jesus] from heaven, strengthening Him.

And being in agony, [Jesus] prayed more earnestly. And His sweat was as [if] it were [large] drops of blood falling down to the ground. [John 12:27 Now My soul is troubled; & what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour: for I came unto this hour, for this [reason.

And when [Jesus] rose up from [praying,] & [had] come to His disciples, He found them sleeping, [because] [of] sorrow, & said to them, Why [do] you sleep? Rise [up] & pray, lest you enter into temptation.

And while [Jesus still spoke, saw] a multitude. And he, [who] was called Judas, 1 of the 12, went [in front of] them, & drew [close] to Jesus to kiss Him. *But Jesus said to him, Judas, [do] you [betray] the Son of Man with a kiss? [Proverbs 27:6 *Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.]

When [those, who] were [around Jesus] saw what would follow, they said to Him, Lord, shall we [strike] with the sword? And one of them, [struck] the servant of the high priest, & cut off his right ear. [John 18:10-11 Then, Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it, & [struck] the high priest's servant, & cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. Then, Jesus said to Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father [has] given Me?

And Jesus answered & said, You [are to] [allow this, [so] far.] [Matthew 26:52-54 Then, Jesus said to [Peter,] Put up your sword into [its] place, for all [those, who] take [up] the sword, shall perish with the sword. [Don't] you think, that I can't now pray to My Father, & He shall give Me, [now,] more than 12 legions of Angels? But then, how shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be [like] [this?

*And [Jesus] touched his ear, & healed him. [Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who [heals] all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

Then, Jesus said to the chief priests, elders, & [leaders] of the temple, [who had] come to Him, [Have] you come out, with swords & [clubs, like] against a thief?

When I was with you daily in the temple, you [didn't] stretch [out any] hands against Me. But this is your & the power of [darkness'] hour. [Ephesians 6:12 For we [don't] wrestle against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers; against the rulers of the [world's] darkness; & against spiritual wickedness in high places.]

Then, they took [Jesus,] & led Him, & brought [Jesus] into the high priest's house. And Peter followed [at a distance.] And when they had [started] a fire, in the [middle] of the hall, & were [sitting] down together, Peter sat down among them.

But a certain maid [saw Peter,] as he sat by the fire, & [intently] looked upon him, & said, This man was also with Him. *And [Peter] denied Him, saying, Woman, I [don't] know Him.

And after a little while, another saw [Peter,] & said, You [are] also of them. *And Peter said, Man, I am not.

And about 1 hour [afterward,] another confidently affirmed, [a.k.a. attested,Truthfully,] this fellow also was with Him: for he is a Galilaean. *And Peter said, Man, I [don't] know what you [say.]

*And immediately, while [Peter still spoke,] the cock [crowed.] And the Lord turned, & looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the Word of the Lord, how [Jesus] had said to him, *Before the cock [crows,] you shall deny Me [3 times.] And Peter went out, & bitterly wept.

*And the men, [who] held Jesus, mocked Him, & [struck] Him. *And when they had blindfolded [Jesus,] they struck Him on the face, & asked Him, saying, Prophesy, who is it, [who struck] You? [Isaiah 50:5-6 *The Lord God [has] opened [My ears,] & I wasn't rebellious, & neither [did I] [turn] away [My] back. I gave My cheeks to [those, who] plucked off the hair. *I didn't hide My face from shame & spitting.]

And many other [blasphemous] things they [spoke] against [Jesus.] *And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people, the chief priests, & scribes came together, & led [Jesus] into their council, saying, [Are] You the Christ? [Psalm 41:7 *All [who] hate Me whisper together against Me. Against Me, & they [plot] My [harm.]

Tell us. And [Jesus] said to them, If I tell you, you won't believe. And if I also ask you, you won't answer Me, nor let Me go. *[From now on,] the Son of Man shall sit on the right hand [side] of the power of God. [Revelation 3:20-21 *[Look,] I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who overcomes] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne.

Then, they all said, [Are] You the Son of God? And [Jesus] said to them, You say that I Am. And they said, What [do] we need any further witnesses [for?] For we, ourselves, have heard [it] [from] His Own mouth.
