About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 23:1-56 Jesus Christ Is Questioned & Mocked

Jesus Christ Is Questioned & Mocked

Luke 23:1-56          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

And the whole multitude of them arose, & led [Jesus] to Pilate. And they began to accuse [Jesus,] saying, We found this Fellow [deceives] the nation, & [is] forbidding [them] to give tribute, [a.k.a. taxes,] to Caesar, saying that He, Himself, Is Christ, a King.

And Pilate asked [Jesus,] saying, [Are] You the King of the Jews? And [Jesus] answered [Pilate] & said, You [say] it. Then, Pilate said to the chief priests, & to the people, I find no fault in this man. [Matthew 27:18-19 For [Pilate] knew that they had delivered [Jesus] for envy. When [Pilate sat] down on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, You, have nothing to do with that just, [a.k.a. Righteous,] Man. For I have suffered many things this day, in a dream because of Him.]

And they were [even] more fierce, saying, He [stirs] up the people, teaching throughout all the [Judea,] beginning from Galilee, to this place. When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the Man [was] a Galilaean, [a.k.a. Galilean.]

And as soon as [Pilate] knew that [Jesus] belonged to Herod's jurisdiction, he sent [Jesus] to Herod, who was also, himself, [in] Jerusalem, at that time. And when Herod saw Jesus, he was [exceedingly] glad. For [Herod had desired] to see [Jesus for] a long [time,] because [Herod] had heard many things [about Jesus.] And [Herod] hoped to have seen some miracle done by Him.

*Then, [Herod] questioned [Jesus with] many words. But [Jesus] answered [Herod] nothing. [Isaiah 53:7 *He was oppressed, & He was afflicted. [Stil, He [didn't] open His mouth. He is brought [like] a lamb to the slaughter, & like a sheep is [mute in front of its] shearers. So, He [didn't] open His mouth.]

*And the chief priests & scribes stood & [angrily] accused [Jesus.] [Psalm 27:12 *[Don't] deliver Me over to the will of [My] enemies. For false witnesses [have] risen up against Me, & breathe out such cruelty.]

*And Herod, with his men of war, set [Jesus to nothing.] [Proverbs 1:25 *But you have [put] all My counsel, at [nothing,] & would [hear] none of My [disapproval.]

*And [they] mocked [Jesus,] & [clothed] Him in a gorgeous robe. [Isaiah 53:3 *He is despised & rejected [by] men. A man of sorrows, & acquainted with grief. And we hid [like] it were our faces from Him. He was despised, & we [didn't hold Him in high regard.]

And the same day, Pilate & Herod [became] friends together. For [previously,] they were [hostile] between themselves. *And when Pilate had called together the chief priest, & [leaders] of the people, [he] said to them, You have brought this Man to me, [like] one, [who deceives] the people. [Psalm 35:11 *False witnesses did rise up. They laid to My [charges,] things that I [didn't know.]

*And, [see,] I [have] examined [Jesus] before you, & have found no fault in this Man, [about] those things, [of which] you accuse Him. No, nor [did] Herod, yet: for I sent to him, & [he] [looked] & found nothing worthy of death [was] done [by] Him.  [Psalm 94:21 *They gather themselves together against the Soul of the Righteous, & condemn the innocent blood.] *

*Therefore, I will chastise [Jesus,] & release Him. [Isaiah 53:5-6 *But He was wounded for our [sins.] He was bruised for our iniquities. The [discipline for] our peace was upon Him. And with His stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks,] we are healed. *All we like sheep have gone astray. We have everyone turned to his own [ways;] & the Lord has laid on Him the [sin] of us all.]

(For [it was necessary that] Pilate must release one at the feast to them.) And they all cried out at once, saying, Away with this Man, & Release Barabbas to us. (Who was cast into prison for: a [verified revolt] & murder.) Therefore Pilate, willing to release Jesus, [spoke] again to them.

But they cried [out,] saying, Crucify Him, crucify Him. And [Pilate] said to them the 3rd time, Why, what evil [has] He done? I have found no [reason] [worthy] of death [done by] Him. Therefore, I will chastise Him, & let Him go. And they [insisted] with loud voices, [demanding] that [Jesus] might be crucified.

And the chief priests & [their] voices prevailed. And Pilate gave [a] sentence, that it should be [like] they [demanded.] And [Pilate] released to them, [Barabbas,] whom they had desired, [who] for [a] [revolt] & murder was [thrown] into prison.

*But [Pilate] delivered Jesus to [do] their will. [Isaiah 53:8 *He was taken from prison, & from judgment, [a.k.a. justice.] And who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living. For He was [struck,] for the [sins]of My people.]

And as they led [Jesus] away, & they laid hold upon, [a.k.a. seized,] one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country. And they laid the cross on him, [so] that he might [carry] it after Jesus.

*And a [large multitude] of people & women, [who] also [wept] & [grieved,] followed [Jesus] there. [Psalm 22:11-12 *Be not far from Me; for trouble is near. For there [are] none to help. Many bulls have [surrounded] Me. Strong bulls of Bashan have [attacked] Me, [all around.]

But turning, Jesus said to them, Daughters of Jerusalem, [don't] weep for Me, but weep for yourselves, & for your children. For, [look,] the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed are the [childless,] & the wombs that never [bore,] & the [breasts that] never [nursed.]

*Then, they shall say to the mountains, Fall on us. And [say] to the hills, Cover us. [Revelation 616-17 *And [they] said to the mountains & rocks, Fall on us, & hide us from the face of Him, [Who sits on the throne, & from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of His wrath [has] come, & who shall be able to stand?]

For if they do these things [when the] tree [is] green, what shall be done in the dry [season?] *And led with [Jesus,] were also 2 other [criminals,] to be put to death.] [Isaiah 53:11-12 *He shall see the [troubles] of His soul, & shall be satisfied by His knowledge, & My Righteous Servant shall justify many. For He shall bear their iniquities. *Therefore, I will divide Him a portion with the great, & He shall divide the spoil with the strong. Because He [has] poured out His soul unto death. And He was numbered with the transgressors, & made intercession for the transgressors. And He [bore] the [sins] of many.]

*And when they [came] to the place, which is called Calvary, they crucified [Jesus] there. [Psalm 22:16 *For the assembly of the wicked have [enclosed] Me & dogs have [surrounded] Me. They pierced My hands & My feet.]

And the [criminals,] [were] one on the right hand [side,] & one on the left. Then Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they [don't] know what they do. *And they parted [Jesus' garments,] & cast lots. [Psalm 22:18 *They [divide] My garments among them, & cast lots upon My vesture.]

*And the people stood [looking.] [Psalm 22:17 *They look & stare [at] Me, & I may [count] all My bones.]

*And the rulers with them also [ridiculed Jesus,] saying, He saved others. Let Him save Himself, if He [is] Christ, the chosen of God. [Psalm 22:7-8 *All [those, who] see Me, [scornfully] laugh [at] Me. They [stick] out the lip, & they shake their head, saying, *He trusted [in] the Lord, that He would deliver Him. Let Him deliver Him, [since,] He [delights] in Him.]

*And the soldiers also mocked [Jesus,] coming to Him, & offering Him vinegar. [Psalm 69:21 *They also gave Me gall for My meat, [a.k.a. food.] And in My thirst, they gave Me vinegar to drink.]

*Saying, If You [are] the King of the Jews, save Yourself. [Jeremiah 23:5-6 *[Watch,] the Lord [says,] the days come, that I will raise to David a Righteous Branch & a King shall [rule] & prosper, & shall [carry out] judgment & justice [on] the earth. *[During] His days, Judah shall be saved, & Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His Name, [by which] He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.]

*And [an inscription] was written [above Jesus] in Greek, Latin, & Hebrew letters: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. *And one of the [criminals, who was hung, challenged Jesus,] saying, If You [are] Christ, save Yourself & us. [Psalms 35:19 *[Don't] let [those, who] are [My] enemies, wrongfully rejoice over Me. Neither let them wink [their]  eye, [who] hate Me without a [reason.]

But [responding,] the other [scolded] him, saying, [Don't] you fear [respect] God, [since] you [have] the same condemnation? *And indeed we [have it] justly; for we receive the [repayment] due [for] our deeds. But this Man, [has] done nothing [wrong.] [Isaiah 53:9 *And He made His grave with the wicked, & with the rich in His death. Because He had done no violence. Neither was any deceit in His mouth.]

And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you [come] into Your Kingdom. And Jesus said to him, [Truly,] I say to you, Today, you shall be with Me in Paradise. *And it was about the 6th hour, & there was darkness over all the earth until the 9th hour. *And the sun was darkened. [Amos 8:9 *The Lord God says, And it shall [happen on] that day, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, & I will darken the earth on [a] clear day.]

And the [temple's] veil was [torn] in the [middle.] And when Jesus had cried [out] with a loud voice, He said, Father, I commend My Spirit into Your hands. And having said [this, Jesus] gave up the ghost, [a.k.a. died.] Now when the Centurion saw what [happened,] he glorified God, saying, Certainly, this was a Righteous Man.

And [at the] sight [of] that, all the people [who] came together, & [saw] the things [that] were done, [struck] their [chests,] & returned [home.] *And all [Jesus' acquaintances,] & the women, [who] followed Him from Galilee, stood [far away, watching] these things. [Psalm 38:11 *My lovers, [a.k.a. Those who love Me,] & My friends, stand aloof from My [wounds,] & My [relatives] stand [far away.]

And, [look,] there was a man named Joseph, a [counselor;] & a good, [fair] man. (The same, [who] hadn't consented to the [advice] & deed of [those] [who crucified Jesus.]) He was [from] Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who, himself, also waited for the Kingdom of God.

This man went to Pilate, & begged [for] the body of Jesus. *And he took [Jesus' body] down, & wrapped it in linen, & laid it in a [tomb cut] in stone, [in which no] man was [ever] laid before. [Zechariah 12:10 *And I pour [out] the Spirit of grace & [petitions,] upon the house of David, & [Jerusalem's] inhabitants. And they shall look upon Me, Whom they have pierced, & they shall mourn for Him, [like] One [mourns] for His only Son, & shall be in bitterness for Him, [like] One, [Who] is in bitterness for His firstborn.]

And that day was the [day of] preparation, & the Sabbath drew [near.] And also the women, [who] came with [Jesus] from Galilee, followed after & [saw] the [tomb,] & how [Jesus'] body was laid.

And they returned, & prepared spices & ointments; & rested [on] the Sabbath day, according to the commandment.
