About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Luke 8:1-56 Jesus Proclaimed the Good News of the Kingdom of God

Jesus Proclaimed the Good News of the Kingdom of God

Luke 8:1-56          The Gospel According to Luke [in Smaller Chunks]

And it [happened] afterward, that [Jesus] went throughout every city & village, preaching & [declaring the glad tidings, [a.k.a. Good News, about] the Kingdom of God. And the 12 [disciples] were with Him. And [some] women, ministered, [a.k.a. served or assisted,] Jesus [from] their substance.

[They] had been healed [from] evil spirits, [a.k.a. demons,] & infirmities, [a.k.a. illnesses or afflictions.] Mary Magdalene, out of whom, 7 [demons] [were cast out.] And Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, & Susanna, & many others.

*And when [many] people were gathered together, & [had] come to [Jesus from] every city, He [spoke] by a parable. [Psalm 78:1-4 O My people, [listen,] to My Law: & [lean] your ears to the Words [from] My mouth. *I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old, which we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide them from their children, [declaring] the praises of the Lord, & His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a. miracles,] He has done, to the generation to come.]

A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the [road] side, & it was [trampled] down, & the [birds] of the air devoured it. And some [seed] fell upon a rock. And as soon as it [had sprouted] up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

And some [seed] fell among thorns, & the thorns [sprouted] up with it, & choked [the seed.] And other [seed] fell on good ground, & [sprouted] up, & [produced] fruit [a] hundredfold. And when [Jesus] had said these things, He cried [out,] He, [who has] ears to hear, let him hear.

And [Jesus'] disciples asked Him, saying, What [does] this parable [mean?] *And [Jesus said,] It is given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God: but in parables to others. [So,] that seeing, they might not see, & hearing, they might not understand.

[Isaiah 6:8-10 I also heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, & who will go for us? Then, I, [a.k.a. Isaiah,] said, Here I am; send me. *And He said, Go, & tell this people, Indeed you hear, but [don't] understand. And indeed you see, but [don't recognize.] *Make the heart of this people fat, [a.k.a. thick or lazy,] & make their ears heavy, & shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, & understand with their heart, & convert, & [are] healed.]

Now, the parable is this:The seed is the Word of God. [The seed] by the [road] side, are [those, who] hear. Then, the devil [comes] & takes away the Word out of their hearts, lest they should believe & are saved. [The seed] on the rock, are [those, who,] when they hear, receive the Word with joy.

And these have no [depth of soil for a] root, & believe for a while, & [during] the time of temptation, fall, [a.k.a. drift,] away. And [the seed] that fell among the thorns, are [those, who,] when they have heard, go [out,] & are choked [by] the cares, riches, & pleasures of this life, & [become unproductive.]

But [the seed] that [fell] on the good ground, are [those, who] having heard the Word, keep it an honest & good heart, & with patience [produce] fruit. No man, when he [has lit] a candle, [covers] it with a vessel, [a.k.a. container,] or [puts] it under a bed; but [puts] it on a candlestick, [so] that, [those, who] enter in may see the Light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made [apparent.]

Neither [is] anything [hidden,] that shall not be [made] known, & [spread widely.] [Luke 12:2-3 For there is nothing covered, [a.k.a. concealed,] that shall not be revealed, & neither [hidden,] that shall not be known. Therefore, [whatever] you have spoken in darkness, shall be heard in the light. And [what] you have spoken in the ear in closets, shall be proclaimed upon housetops.]

Therefore, [pay attention] [about] how you hear, [a.k.a. listen.] For [whoever] has [the Word of God within him,] to him shall be given. And [whoever doesn't have,] [the Word of God within him,] even [what] he seems to have shall be taken from him. [1 Corinthians 10:12 [For this reason,] let him, [who thinks] he [endures pay attention,] lest he [falls.]

Then, [Jesus'] mother, & His brethren, [a.k.a. brothers,] came to Him, & couldn't come [in to] Him, [because] [of] the [crowd.] And [Jesus] was told by [some, who] said, Your mother, & Your brethren stand [outside,] desiring to see You. And [Jesus] answered & said to them, My mother, & My brethren are these, [who] hear the Word of God & do it.

Now, it [happened] on a [particular] day, that [Jesus] went into a ship with His disciples. And He said to them, Let's go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched [out.] But as they sailed, [Jesus] fell asleep. And a [windy,] storm came down on the lake, & they were filled with water, & were in jeopardy.

And they came to [Jesus,] & awoke Him saying, Master, master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] we [are] [perishing.] *Then [Jesus] arose, & rebuked the wind & the raging waters: & they [stopped,] & there was calm. [Psalm 89:9 *You [rule] the raging sea: & when the waves [of it] arise, You [still, a.k.a. calm,] them.]

And [Jesus] said to them, Where is your faith? And being afraid, [they] wondered, saying to one another, What [type] of Man is this! For He even [commands] the winds & water, & they obey Him. And they arrived at the [region] of Gadarenes', which is [across from] Galilee.

And when [Jesus] [landed] & went [out & onto] [the] land & [was] met there [by] a man, out of the city, [who] had [demons] [a] long time, & [didn't wear] clothes, [nor lived] in any house, but [lived] in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, & fell down [in front of] Him.

And with a loud voice said, What [do] I have to do with You, Jesus, You, Son of the Most High God? I [beg] You, [don't] torment me. (For [Jesus] had commanded the unclean spirit, [a.k.a. demon,] to come out of the man. For [often, the demon] had caught, [a.k.a. possessed,] him.

And he was kept bound in chains & [shackles.] And he [broke] the bands, & was driven into the wilderness [by] the [demon.]) And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion: because many [demons had] entered into him.

And they [begged Jesus,] that He wouldn't command them to go out into the deep [waters.] And [a] herd of many swine, [a.k.a. pigs or hogs,] was there on the mountain. And they [urged Jesus,] that He would [allow] them to enter into [the herd.] And [Jesus allowed] them.

Then the [demons] went out of the man, & entered into the swine. And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, & were choked. When [those, who] fed them saw what was done, they fled, & went & told [what happened] in the city & in the country.

Then, they went out to see what was done, & came to Jesus, & found the man, [from] whom the [demons had] departed, clothed, & in his right mind, sitting at [Jesus'] feet, & they were afraid. Also, [those, who] saw it, told them [how the man] possessed by [demons] was healed.

Then, the whole multitude of the [region] of Gadarenes, & [all around it begged Jesus] to [leave] from them. For they were [overcome] with great fear. And [Jesus] went up into the ship. Now, the man [from] whom the [demons had] departed, [begged Jesus,] that he might be with Him, but sent him away, saying, Return to your own house, & [declare] how God has done great things to you. [Jesus] returned [to where He had been before the trip.]

And [the man] went [on] his way, & [proclaimed] throughout the whole city, how Jesus had done great things [for] him. And it [happened,] that, when Jesus [had] returned, the people gladly received, [a.k.a. welcomed,] Him. For they were all waiting for [Jesus.]

And [saw] a man named Jairus, came there, & he was a ruler, [a.k.a. in charge over,] the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus' feet, & [begged] Him, that He would come into his house. For he had only one daughter, about 12 years [old,] & she lay dying.

But as [Jesus] went, the people [crowded] Him. And a woman, [who] [had a discharge] of blood 12 years. All her living had [been] spent on physicians, & [couldn't] be healed [by] any. [She] came behind [Jesus,] & touched the border of His garment. And immediately her [discharge] of blood [stopped.]

And Jesus said, Who touched Me? When all denied, Peter, & [those, who] were with him said, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher,] the multitude [crowd] You & [push] [against] You. And You [say,] Who touched Me? And Jesus said, Somebody [has] touched Me: for I [realize] that virtue is gone [from] Me.

And when the woman saw that she wasn't [hidden,] she came trembling. And falling down [in front of Jesus,] she declared to Him [in front of] all the people, the [reason] she had touched Him, & how she was healed immediately. *And [Jesus] said to her, Daughter, be of good comfort. Your faith [has] made you whole; go in peace.

[Psalm 103:2-4 *Bless the Lord, O my soul, & [don't] forget all His benefits: Who [forgives] all your [sins;] Who heals all your diseases; Who [redeems] your life from destruction; & Who [crowns] you with loving kindness & tender mercies.]

While [Jesus still spoke, someone] from the house: of the ruler of the [synagogue came] there, saying to [the ruler,] Your daughter is dead. [Don't] trouble the Master. But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, [Don't] fear, & only believe, & she shall be made whole.

And when [Jesus] came into the house, He [didn't allow any] man to go in, [except:] Peter, James, John, & the father & mother of the maiden. And all wept & bewailed her. But [Jesus] said, [Don't] weep. She isn't dead, but [sleeps.] And they [scornfully ridiculed Jesus,] knowing that she was dead.

*And [Jesus] put them all out, & took her by the hand, & called, saying, [Maiden,] arise. And her spirit [returned] again, & [right away] she arose, & [Jesus] commanded to give her meat, [a.k.a. food.]

[Isaiah 35:5-6 *Then, the eyes of the blind shall be opened, & the ears of the deaf shall be [unplugged.] *Then the lame man shall leap [like a deer,] & the tongue of the [mute] [shall] sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, & streams in the desert.]

And her parents were astonished. But [Jesus demanded] that they [shouldn't] tell [any] man what was done.
