About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

John 10:1-42 Jesus Tells Them He's The Good Shepherd

Jesus Tells Them He's The Good Shepherd

John 10:1-42          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

[Very, truly,] I say to you, He [who doesn't enter] by the door, into the sheepfold, [a.k.a. pen for sheep,] but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief & a robber. But he, [who enters] in by the door, is the Shepherd of the sheep. The porter, [a.k.a. doorkeeper, opens] to Him, & the sheep hear His voice.

And He [calls] His Own sheep by name, & leads them out. And when [puts out] His Own sheep, He [goes in front of] them, & the sheep will follow Him. For they know His voice. And they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him. For they [don't] know the voice of strangers.

[2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, [a.k.a. impostors,] transforming themselves to [appear like] the apostles of Christ. And no [wonder;] for Satan, himself, is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing, if [Satan's] ministers are also transformed [like] the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works, [a.k.a. deeds.]

*Jesus [spoke] this parable to them. [Psalm 78:1-4 *O My people, [listen] to My Law. [Lean] your ears to the Words of My mouth. I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old: [that] we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide from their children the praises of the Lord, & His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] He has done, [declaring] [them] to the generation to come.]

But they [didn't understand] what He [spoke] to them. Then, Jesus said to them again, [Very, truly,] I say to you, I Am the Door of the sheep. All, [who] ever came before Me, are: thieves & robbers. But the sheep didn't hear them. I Am the Door. If any man [enters] in, he shall be saved by Me, & shall go in & out, & find pasture.

The thief [only comes] to steal, kill, & destroy. I [have] come, [so] that they might have Life, & that they might have it more abundantly. *I Am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd [gives] His Life for the sheep. [Isaiah 40:11 *He shall feed His flock like a Shepherd. He shall gather the lambs with His arm, & carry them in His [chest,] & shall gently lead those, [who] are with young.]

But he, [who] is [a hired worker,] & not the shepherd, & the sheep are not [his] own, [sees] the wolf coming, & [leaves, [a.k.a. abandons,] the sheep, & [flees.] And the wolf [catches] them, & [scatters] the sheep. The [hired worker flees,] because he is [a hired worker,] & [doesn't] care for the sheep.

I Am the Good Shepherd, & know My sheep, & Am known [by] Mine. [2 Timothy 2:19 [Still,] the foundation of God [stands secure & has] His seal. The Lord [knows those, who] are His. And [lets] everyone [who calls on] the Name of Christ, [to] depart from iniquity, [a.k.a. sinfulness.]

[Like] the Father [knows] Me, I even know the Father, [this way.] And I lay down My Life for the sheep. And I have other sheep, [that] aren't [from] this [flock.] I must also bring them, & they shall hear My voice. And there shall be one [flock,] & One Shepherd.

[Acts 9:14-16 And [Saul, a.k.a. Paul, has] authority here from the chief priest to [chain] all, [who] call on Your Name. But the Lord said to [Ananias,] Go [on] your way: for [Saul] is a chosen vessel to Me, to bear, [a.k.a. to carry,] My Name [in front of] the Gentiles, kings, & the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. For I will [show] him [what] great things he must suffer for My Name's sake.

*Therefore, My Father [does] love Me, because I lay down My Life, [so] that I might take it again. [Isaiah 53:6-7 *All we like sheep have gone astray. We have, everyone turned to his own [ways.] And the Lord [has] laid on Him, the [sin] of us all. *He was oppressed, & He was afflicted, [still] He [didn't open] His mouth. He is brought [like] a lamb to the slaughter, & [like] a sheep is [mute] before [its] shearers, so He [didn't] open His mouth.]

No man [takes My Life] from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. *I have power to lay it down, & I have power to take it again. I have received this commandment [from] My Father. [Jeremiah 31:10-11 *O you nations, Hear the Word of the Lord, & declare it in the [coastal islands far away,] & say, He, [Who] scatters Israel, will gather [them,] & keep [them, like] a Shepherd [does] His flock. For the Lord [has] Redeemed Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] & Ransomed [them] from the hand of him, [who] was stronger than [them.]

Therefore, there was a [disagreement] again among the Jews, [because] [of] these sayings. And many of them said, He has a [demon, & is [insane.] Why [do] you hear Him? Others said, These aren't the Words of Him, [who] has a [demon.] Can a [demon] open the eyes of the blind?

And it was winter [in] Jerusalem, [during] the Feast of the Dedication, [a.k.a. Hanukkah.] And in Solomon's Porch, Jesus walked [into] the temple. Then, the Jews came [all around Jesus,] & said to Him, How long [do] You make us doubt? If You [are] the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them, I told you, & you [didn't] believe. The works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] that I do in My Father's Name, bear witness, [a.k.a. testify, about] Me. As I said to you, Because you aren't of My sheep, you [don't] believe. [John 8:47 He, [Who] is of God, hears God's Words. Therefore, you [don't] hear them, because you aren't of God.]

My sheep hear My voice, & I know them, & they follow Me. And I give to them eternal Life. And they shall never perish, & neither shall any man [snatch] them out [from] My Father's hand. My Father & I are One.

Then, the Jews [picked] up stones again, to stone [Jesus.] Jesus answered them, I have [showed] you many good works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] from My Father. [Matthew 15:30 *And [large] multitudes came to [Jesus,] having with them, those, [who] were: lame, blind, [mute, crippled,] & many others, & cast them down at Jesus' feet, & He healed them.]

For which of those works do you stone Me? The Jews answered [Jesus,] saying, For we [don't] stone You for a good work; but for blasphemy, [since] You, being a Man, make Yourself God. [John 5:18 Therefore, the Jews sought [even] more to kill [Jesus,] because He not only had broken the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.]

Jesus answered them, Isn't it written in your Law, I said, You are gods? [Psalm 82:6 I have said, You are gods; & all of you are children of the Most High.]

If He called them gods, to whom the Word of God came, & the Scripture can't be broken; [What do] you say [about] Him, Whom the Father [has] sanctified, & sent into the world?

[John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, [so] that [whoever believes in] Him, should not perish, but have everlasting Life. For God [didn't send] His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world might be saved through Him.

Because I said, I Am the Son of God, you [blaspheme, [a.k.a. taking the Lord's Name in vain.] If I [don't] do the works of My Father, [a.k.a. Miracles, don't] believe Me. But if I do [the works of My Father,] [even though] you [don't] believe Me, believe the works, [a.k.a. Miracles, so] that you may know, & believe that the Father is in Me, & I in Him.

Therefore, they sought again to take, [a.k.a. seize] Him. But [Jesus] escaped out of their hand, & went away again, beyond [the] Jordan [River,] into the place where John first baptized. And [Jesus stayed] there.

And many [visited Jesus,] & said, John [didn't] [do any] [miracles:] but all things that John [spoke about] this Man were True. And many believed [in Jesus] there.
