About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

John 20:1-31 The Tomb is Found Empty, Because Jesus Arose From the Dead

The Tomb is Found Empty, Because Jesus Arose From the Dead

John 20:1-31          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

The first day of the week, Mary Magdalene [came] early to the [tomb.] [Leviticus 23:3 Work shall be done 6 days: but the 7th day is the Sabbath of rest, [a] Holy [assembly.] You shall do no work [on it.] It is the Sabbath of the Lord, in all your dwellings.]

When it was [still] dark, [Mary] [saw] the stone, [a.k.a. boulder,] was taken away from the [tomb.] [Mark 15:46 And [Joseph of Arimathaea] brought fine linen, & took [Jesus] down, & wrapped Him in the linen, & laid [Jesus] in a [tomb] which was [cut] out of rock, & rolled a stone [onto] the [tomb's entrance.]

Then, [Mary Magdalene ran] & [came] to Simon Peter, & the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, & said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the [tomb,] & we [don't] know where they have laid [Jesus.] [John 21:24 This is the disciple, [who testifies about] these things, & wrote these things. And we know that his testimony is true.]

Therefore, Peter & that other disciple went [out,] & came to the [tomb.] They both ran [this way] together; & the other disciple [outran] Peter, & came to the [tomb] first.

And stooping down, & looking in, he saw the linen clothes, [a.k.a. cloths,] lying. [Still,] he [didn't go] in. Then, Simon Peter following him, [came,] & went into the [tomb,] & [saw] the linen clothes [lying.] And the napkin, that was [tied] [around Jesus'] head, [wasn't] lying with the linen clothes, but [were] wrapped, [a.k.a. folded,] together in a place by itself.

Then, that other disciple, [who] 1st came to the [tomb,] also went in, & he saw & believed. *For they [still didn't know, a.k.a. understand,] the Scripture, that [Jesus] must rise again from the dead. [Psalm 49:14-15 *They are laid in the grave like sheep; & death shall feed on them. And  the upright shall have dominion, [a.k.a. power,] over them in the morning. And their beauty shall consume, [a.k.a. decay,] in the grave, from [where] [they dwell.] But God will redeem My soul, [a.k.a. life,] from the power of the grave. For He shall receive Me. Selah.]

Then, the disciples went away again to their own home. But Mary stood [outside] the [tomb] weeping. And as [Mary] wept, she stooped down & looked into the [tomb,] & saw 2 Angels in white, sitting, the one at the head, where the body of Jesus was lain, & the other at the feet.

And they [said] to [Mary,] Woman, why [do] you [weep?] [Mary said] to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, & I [don't] know where they have laid Him. And when [Mary] had said [this,] she turned herself back, & saw Jesus standing, & [didn't know] that it was Jesus. [Mark 16:12 After that, [Jesus] appeared in another form, [a.k.a. image,] to two of them, as they walked, & went out into the country.]

Jesus said to [Mary,] Woman, why [do] you [weep?] Whom [do] you [seek?] [Mary thought Jesus was] the gardener, & [said] to Him, Sir, if You have [carried] Him [from] [here,] tell me where you [have] laid Him, & I will take Him away. Jesus said to her, Mary. She turned herself, & [said] to Him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master, [a.k.a. Teacher.]

Jesus [said] to [Mary,] [Don't] touch Me, I [haven't] ascended to My Father yet: but go to My brethren. And say to them, I ascend, [a.k.a. go up] to My Father, & your Father, & to My God, & your God. [Psalm 16:8-10 *I have always [put] the Lord before Me: because He is at My right hand [side,] & I shall not be moved. Therefore, My heart is glad, & My glory [rejoices.] Also, My flesh shall also rest in hope. *For You [won't] leave My soul in hell. Neither [will] You [allow] Your Holy One to see corruption, [a.k.a. decay.]

Mary Magdalene came & told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, & that He had spoken these things to her. Then, the same day, being the first day of the week, at evening, where the disciples were assembled, [with] the doors shut, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came & stood in the [middle,] & said to them, Peace be to you. And when [Jesus] had said [this,] He [showed] to them His hands & His side. *Then, when they saw the Lord, the disciples were glad. [Zechariah 13:6 *And [someone] shall say to Him, What are these wounds in Your hands? Then, He shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends.]

Then, Jesus said to them again, Peace be to you. [Like] My Father [has] sent Me, I [also] send you. [Acts 1:7-9 and [Jesus] said to them, It isn't for you to know the times or the seasons, [that] the Father [has] put in His Own Power. But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a Holy Spirit, has] come upon you. And you shall be [My] witnesses, both in: Jerusalem, in all [of] Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & in Samaria, & to the [furthest parts] of the earth. And when [Jesus] had spoken these things, while they [watched,] a cloud received Him, & He was taken up out of their sight.]

And when [Jesus] had said this, He breathed on them, & [said] to them, You, receive, [a.k.a. accept,] the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.] [Whoever's] sins you [forgive,] they are [forgiven] them. And [whoever's] sins you retain, they [remain.]

But Thomas, called Didymus, 1 of the 12, wasn't with them when Jesus came. Therefore, the other disciples said to [Thomas,] We have seen the Lord. But [Thomas] said to them, [Unless,] I shall see in [Jesus'] hands the print of the nails & put my finger into the [nail prints,] & thrust my hand onto His side, I won't believe.

And after 8 days, [Jesus'] disciples were again [inside,] & Thomas was with them. Then Jesus came, [eventhough] the doors [were] shut, & stood in the [middle,] & said, Peace be to you. *Then, [Jesus] said to Thomas, Reach your finger [here,] & [see] My hands. Reach your hand [here,] & thrust it into My said. And [don't] be [without faith,] but believing.

[Zechariah 12:10 *And I will pour the Spirit of Grace & of [petitions,] upon the house of David, & [Jerusalem's] inhabitants. And they shall look upon Me, Whom they have pierced. And they shall mourn for Him, [like someone] mourns for His only Son, & shall be in bitterness for Him, [like someone, who] is in bitterness for His firstborn.]

And Thomas answered & said to [Jesus,] My Lord, & my God. Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you [have] seen Me, you [have] believed. Blessed are [those, who] haven't seen, & [still] have believed.

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this Book. [John 21:25 And there are also many other things [that] Jesus did, [of] which, if every one [were to] be written, I suppose that even the world itself, couldn't contain, [a.k.a. hold,] [all] the books that should be written. Amen.]

But these are written, [so] that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. And that believing, you might have [eternal] Life, through His Name.
