About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

John 4:1-54 Jesus Asks for Water at the Well From a Samaritan Woman

Jesus Asks for Water at the Well From a Samaritan Woman

John 4:1-54          The Gospel According to John [in Smaller Chunks]

Therefore, when the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made & baptized more disciples than John, ([although,] Jesus, Himself, [didn't] baptize, but His disciples [baptized.]) [Jesus] left Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] & departed again into Galilee.

And [Jesus needed to] go through Samaria. Then, He [came] to a city [that] is called Sychar, [a.k.a. Shechem,] of Samaria, near to the parcel of [land] that Jacob gave to his son, Joseph.

Now, Jacob's Well was there. Therefore, [since] it was [around] the 6th hour, & Jesus, being [tired from] His journey, sat [by] the well. A woman [from] Samaria [came] there to draw water. Jesus [said] to her, Give Me [some water] to drink. (For [Jesus'] disciples [had] gone away to the city, to buy meat, [a.k.a. food.])

Then, the woman [from] Samaria said to [Jesus,] How is it that you, being a Jew, [ask] [for something to] drink [from] me, [who] am a woman [from] Samaria? [Since,] the Jews have [nothing to do ] with the Samaritans.

*Jesus answered & said to her, If you [knew] the gift [from] God, & Who it is [Who says] to you, Give Me [something] to drink; you would've asked [from] Him, & He would've given you Living water. [Isaiah 12:2-4 *[Look,] God is my Salvation. [In Whom] I will trust, & not be afraid. For the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength & my song. He also [has] become my Salvation. Therefore, you shall draw water out of the wells of Salvation with joy. And [on] that day, you shall say, Praise the Lord; call upon His Name; & declare His [actions] among the people. Mention that His Name is exalted.]

The woman [said] to [Jesus,] Sir, You [have] nothing with [which] to draw [water,] & the well is deep. Then, from [where] [do] You [have] that Living water? [Are] You greater, [a.k.a. more important,] than, our [forefather] Jacob, [a.k.a. Israel,] who gave us the well, & drank [of it] himself, & his children, & his cattle?

Jesus answered & said to her, [Whoever drinks from] this water, shall thirst again. But [whoever drinks from] the water that I shall give him, shall never thirst. But the water I shall give him, shall be a well of water, [within] him, springing up, [leading] to everlasting life.

The woman said to [Jesus,] Sir, give Me this water, [so] that I [never] thirst. Neither [will I] come [here] to draw [water.] Jesus said to her, Go, & call your husband, & come [here.] The woman answered & said, I have no husband.

Jesus said to her, You have said [correctly,] I have no husband. For you [have] had 5 husbands. And he, whom you now [have] isn't your husband. You [said truthfully,] [about] that. The woman said to [Jesus,] Sir, I [realize] You [are] a prophet. Our [forefathers] worshiped [on] this mountain. And you, [Jews] say, that the place where men ought to worship is in Jerusalem.

Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me. The hour [comes,] when you shall neither worship the Father [on] this mountain, nor [in] Jerusalem. [1 Timothy 2:8 Therefore, I [want] that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without [anger] & [without] doubting.]

You worship what you don't know. *We know what we worship, for Salvation is of the Jews. [Isaiah 3:2 *And many people shall go & say, You, come, & let's go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, & we will walk, [a.k.a. follow] in His paths. For the Law shall go out of Zion, & the Word of the Lord [shall go out] from Jerusalem.]

But the hour comes & now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father, in Spirit & in Truth. For the Father [seeks] such [as these] to worship Him. [John 1:17 For the Law was given by Moses, but grace & Truth came by Jesus Christ.]

God is a Spirit. And [those, who] worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit & in Truth. [John 14:6 Jesus [said] to him, I Am the Way, The Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.]

The woman [said] to [Jesus,] I know that [the] [Messiah] comes, [Who] is called Christ. When He comes, He will tell us all things. Jesus [said] to her, I, [Who] speak to you, Am He. [Matthew 16:15-16 [Jesus said] to them, But Whom [do] you say I Am? And Simon Peter answered, You [are] the Christ, the Son of the Living God.]

[During] this, [Jesus'] disciples came, & [marveled,] that He talked with the woman. [Still,] no man said, What [do] You [seek?] or, Why [are] You talking with her?

Then, the woman left her waterpot, & went [on] her way, into the city, & [said] to the men, Come & see a Man, [Who] told me, all things that I ever did. Isn't this the Christ? Then, they went out of the city, & came to [Jesus.]

In the mean [time,] the disciples [urged] him, saying, Master, [a.k.a. Rabbi or Teacher,] eat. But [Jesus] said to them, I have meat, [a.k.a. Food,] to eat that you [don't] know of. Therefore, the disciples said to one another, [Has] any man brought Him [anything] to eat?

Jesus said to them, My meat, [a.k.a. food,] is to do the will of Him, [Who] sent Me, & to finish His work. [John 9:2-4 And [Jesus'] disciples asked Him, saying, Master, who [sinned,] this man, or his parents, [in] that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither [has] this man sinned, nor his parents. But [so] that the works, [a.k.a. Miracles,] of God, should be made [apparent] in him. I must [accomplish] the works of Him, [Who] sent Me, while it is day. The night [comes,] when no man can work.

[Don't] you say, There are [still] 4 months, [until] the harvest [comes?] [See,] I say to you, Lift up your eyes, & look [at] the fields. For they are white & [ready] to harvest. [Matthew 9:37-38 Then, [Jesus] said to His disciples, The harvest is truly [plentiful,] but the [workers] are few. Therefore, you pray [to] the Lord of the harvest, [so] that He will send [out laborers] into His harvest.]

And he, [who, reaps, a.k.a. harvests, receives] wages, & gathers fruit [that leads] to eternal life: [so] that both he, [who sows, a.k.a plants,] & he, [who harvests,] may rejoice together. And [within] [this,] that saying is true, One [sows,] & another [reaps.] [1 Corinthians 3:5-6 Then, who is Paul, & who is Apollos, but ministers, by whom you [came to] [believe,] even [like what] the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, & Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.]

I sent you to reap, [a.k.a. harvest,] on [what] you [haven't done any work.] Other men [worked,] & you [have] entered into [the harvest of believers, produced by] their labors.

And many of the Samaritans [from] that city, believed [in Jesus, because] [of what] the woman, [who] testified, [said,] He told me all that I ever did. So, when the Samaritans [had] come to [Jesus,] they [urged] Him, [so] that He would [stay] with them. And [Jesus stayed] there 2 days.

And many more believed, because of [Jesus'] Own [Words.] And [they] said to the woman, Now, we believe, not because of [what you said.] For we have heard Him ourselves, & know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world. [John 17:8 *For I have given to them the Words [that] You [gave] Me. And they have received them, & have [truly] known that I came from You. And they have believed that You [did] send Me.

Now after 2 days, [Jesus left from there,] & went into Galilee. For Jesus, Himself, testified, that a Prophet has no [honor] in His Own country. Then, when [Jesus had] come into Galilee, the Galilaeans, [a.k.a. Galileans,] received, [a.k.a. accepted,] Him, having seen all the things that He did [in] Jerusalem, at the feast. For they also went to the feast. [Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went all [around] Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, & preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, & healing all [types] of: sickness, & [diseases,] among the people.]

So, Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where He made the water [into] wine. And at Capernaum, there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick. When he heard that Jesus [had] come out of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] into Galilee, he went to [Jesus,] & [begged] Him, [so] that He would come down, & heal his son. For he was at the point of death. Then, Jesus said to him, [Unless] you see signs & wonders, [a.k.a. Miracles,] you won't believe.

The nobleman [said] to [Jesus,] Sir, come down, [before] my child [dies.] Jesus said to him, Go [on] your way. Your son [lives.] And the man believed the Word that Jesus had spoken to him, & he went [on] his way. And now, as he was going down, his servants met him, & told him, saying, Your son [lives.]

Then, he [inquired from] them, the hour when [his son] began to [get better.] And they said to him, Yesterday, the fever left him at the 7th hour. So, the father knew that it was at the same hour, in which Jesus said to him, Your son lives. And [he,] & his whole [household] believed. This is again, the 2nd miracle that Jesus did, when he [had] come out of Judaea, into Galilee.
