About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Acts 5:1-42 Ananias & Sapphira Secretly Kept Part of Proceeds of Land They Sold

Ananias & Sapphira Secretly Kept Part of Proceeds of Land They Sold

Acts 5:1-42                    The Acts of the Apostles [in Smaller Chunks]

But a certain man, named Ananias, with his wife, Sapphira, sold a possession, & kept back part of the [proceeds,] his wife also being [aware of] it, & brought a certain [portion,] & laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why [has] Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] & to keep back part of the price of the land? [Deuteronomy 23:21 When you [shall] vow [an oath] to the Lord your God, you [shall] not [be] slack, [a.k.a. negligent,] to pay it. For the Lord your God will surely require it [from] you. And it would be a sin [within] you.]

[While] it remained [yours,] wasn't it your own? And after it was sold, wasn't it in your own power, [a.k.a. control?] Why [have] you conceived this thing, [a.k.a. scheme,] in your heart? You [haven't] lied to men, but to God. And hearing these words, Ananias, fell down, & gave up the ghost, [a.k.a. died.]

And great fear came on all [those, who] heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, carried him out, & buried him. And it was about 3 hours [afterwards,] when his wife came in, not knowing what was done.

And Peter [asked] her, Tell me whether you sold the land for [this] much? And she said, [Yes,] for [this] much. Then, Peter said to [Sapphira,] How is it that you have agreed together to tempt, [a.k.a. test,] the Spirit of the Lord? [Look,] the feet of [those, who] have buried your husband are at the door, & shall carry you out. Then, [Sapphira immediately] fell at [Peter's] feet, & yielded up the ghost.

And the young men came in, & found her dead, & carried her [out,] & buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, & upon as many as heard these things.

And many signs & wonders, [a.k.a. Miracles,] were [accomplished] by the hand of the apostles, among the people. (And they were all [united] with one accord, [a.k.a. agreement,] in Solomon's Porch. And the people magnified them. [Acts 2:42-44 And they [continued faithfully] in the apostle's: doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching,] fellowship, & breaking bread, & in prayers. And fear [a.k.a. respect,] came upon every soul. And many wonders & signs, [a.k.a. Miracles,] were done by the apostles. And all [who] believed, were together, & had all things in common, [a.k.a. shared all things.]

But [none] of the [rest dared] join himself to them. And [even] more believers, multitudes of both: men & women were added to the Lord.) [In] that, they brought [out] the sick into the streets, & laid them on beds & couches, [so,] at least, the shadow of Peter passing by, might overshadow some of them.

There also came a multitude out of the cities, [all around,] to Jerusalem, bringing sick [folk,] & [those, who] were [troubled] with unclean spirits, [a.k.a. demons.] And everyone [of] [them] were healed.

Then, the high priest & all [those] (of the [Sadducees'] faith) rose up & were filled with indignation with [the high priest,] & laid their hands on, [a.k.a. seized,] the apostles, & put them in the common prison.

But the Angel of the Lord opened the prison doors [at] night & brought them [out,] & said, Go, stand, & speak to the people in the temple, all the Words of this Life. [1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record that God [has] given us eternal Life, & this Life is [through] His Son. He, [who] has [faith in] the Son, [has] Life. He, [who doesn't] have [faith in] the Son of God, [doesn't have] Life.]

And when they heard that, they entered early in the morning into the temple, & taught. But the high priest came, & [those who] were with him, & called the council & all the senate, [a.k.a. elders,] of the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel together, & sent to the prison,to have [the apostles] brought [to them.] But when the officers came, & [didn't find] them in the prison, they returned, & [reported.]

Saying, Truly, we found the prison doors shut with all [security,] & the [guards] standing [outside, in front of] the doors. But when we had opened [the doors,] we found no man [inside.] Now, when the high priest, the [leader] of the temple, & the chief priests heard these things, they doubted [between] them, [about whether] this would grow, [a.k.a. spread.] [Acts 6:7 And the Word of God [spread;] & the number of disciples greatly multiplied in Jerusalem. And a [large multitude] of priests were obedient to the faith.]

Then, [someone] came & told them, saying, [Look,] the men, whom you put in prison are standing in the temple, & teaching the people. Then, the [leader] with the officers went & brought them without violence. For they feared the people, lest they [would] have been stoned.

And when they had brought [the apostles,] they [put] them [in front of] the council. And the high priest asked them, saying, Didn't we [severely] command you that you shouldn't teach in this Name? And, [look,] you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching,] & intend to bring This Man's blood upon us. [Matthew 27:23-26 And [Pilate] said, Why, what evil [has Jesus] done? But they cried out [even] more, saying, Let Him be crucified. When Pilate saw that he [couldn't] prevail, but [instead a riot] was made, he took water, & washed his hands [in front of] the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this Just, [a.k.a. Righteous,] Person. You see to it. Then all the people said, [Let] His blood be on us, & on our children.]

Then, Peter & the other apostles answered & said, We [should] obey God, rather than men. The God of our [forefathers] raised up Jesus, Whom you hung on a [cross made from] a tree, & [killed] [Him.] God has exalted Him with His right hand, to be a Prince & a Savior, to give repentance & forgiveness of sins to Israel. [Revelation 3:19-22 As many as I love, I [reprimand] & [chastize.] Therefore, be zealous, & repent. [Watch, I stand at the door, & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him, [who overcomes] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne. He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [says] to the churches.

And we are His witnesses of these things. And so is the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] also, Whom God [has] given to [those, who] obey Him. When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, [a.k.a. greatly distressed,] & [got advice] to [kill] them.

Then, [someone] in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the Law, stood up there. [He] had [a] reputation among all the people, & commanded [that they] put the apostles [out a little ways,] & said to [the council,] You men of Israel, [you pay attention,] to what you intend to do [about] these men.

For [prior] [to] these days, Theudas, rose up, boasting himself to be somebody. To whom about 400 men joined themselves [with him,] who was [killed,] & as many as obeyed him, were all scattered, & brought to [nothing.] After this man rose up, Judas of Galilee, drew away [many] people after him, [during] the days of taxing. He also perished, [a.k.a. died,] & as many as obeyed him, even all were dispersed, [a.k.a. went their separate ways.]

And now, I say to you, Refrain, [a.k.a. have nothing to do with,] these men, & let them alone. For if this [advice] or this work [is] of men, it will come to [nothing.] But if it [is] of God, you can't overthrow it; lest [perhaps] you [are] found to even fight against God. And they agreed [with] him.

And when they had called the apostles, & beaten them, they commanded that they shouldn't speak in the Name of Jesus, & let them go. And they [left] from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were [considered] worthy to suffer shame for [Jesus'] Name. And they [didn't cease] to teach & preach [about] Jesus Christ daily in the temple, & in every house.
