About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Acts 9:1-43 Saul is Converted by Jesus Christ on the Road to Damascus

Saul is Converted by Jesus Christ on the Road to Damascus

Acts 9:1-43                    The Acts of the Apostles [in Smaller Chunks]

And Saul went to the high priest, [still crying] out [threats] & slaughter against the disciples of the Lord. And [Saul,] desired letters [from the priest,] to [take] to Damascus, & to the synagogues, [so] that if he found any, whether they were men or women, [followers] of this Way, [so] he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. [John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I Am the Way, The Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.]

And as [Saul] journeyed, he came near Damascus. And suddenly there shined [all around] him, a Light from heaven. And [saul] fell to the [ground,] & heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why [do] you [persecute] Me? And [Saul] said, Who [are] You, Lord? And the Lord said, I Am Jesus, Whom you [persecute.] It is hard for you to kick against the pricks, [a.k.a. needles of sticker bushes.]

And astonished & trembling, [Saul] said, Lord, what [would] You have me to do? And the Lord said to [Saul,] Arise, & go into the city, & it shall be told [to] you, what you must do. And the men, [who] journeyed with [Saul,] stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no Man.

And Saul arose from the [ground.] And when [Saul's] eyes were opened, he saw no man. But they led [Saul] by the hand, & brought him into Damascus. And [Saul] was without sight 3 days, & neither did he eat, nor drink.

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias. And the Lord said to [Ananias,] in a vision, Ananias. And he said, [Look,] I am here, Lord. And the Lord said to him, Arise, & go into the street which is called: Straight, & [inquire] in the house of Judas, for [someone] called Saul, of Tarsus. [Look,] for he [prays,] & [has] seen in a vision: a man named Ananias coming in, & putting his hand on him, [so] that he might receive his sight.

Then, Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard [about] this man, by many, & how much evil [Saul] has done to Your saints [in] Jerusalem. And [Saul has] authority here from the chief priests to [tie up] all, [who] call on Your Name.

But the Lord said to [Ananias,] Go [on] your way: for [Saul,] is a chosen vessel, [a.k.a. instrument, for] Me, to [carry] My Name before the Gentiles, kings, & the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel. For I will [declare] [to] [Saul,] [what] great things he must suffer for My Name's sake.

And Ananias went [on] his way, & entered into the house; & putting his hands on [Saul,] said, Brother, Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, [Who] appeared to you [on] the [road] as you [came, has] sent me, [so] that you [might] receive your sight, & be filled with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.]

And immediately, there fell from [Saul's] eyes, as [if] it had been scales. And [Saul] received his sight, & [at once,] arose, & was baptized. And when [Saul] had received meat, [a.k.a. food, Saul] was strengthened.

Then, Saul was with the disciples certain days, [who] were [in] Damascus. And [immediately Saul] preached [about] Christ in the synagogues, & that He Is the Son of God. But all [who] heard [Saul,] were amazed, & said, Isn't this he, [who] destroyed [those, who] called on This Name in Jerusalem, & came [here] [with the] intent, that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?

But [Saul's] strength increased more, & [he] [contradicted] the Jews, [who] dwelt in Damascus, proving that this is [the] very, [a.k.a. actual,] Christ. [Acts 26:19-20 [At this point,] O king Agrippa, I wasn't disobedient to the heavenly vision: but 1st [declared] to [those in] Damascus, & [in] Jerusalem, & throughout all the coasts of Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea.] And then to the Gentiles, [so] that they should repent & turn to God, & do works, [a.k.a. deeds, appropriate] for repentance.]

And after many days were fulfilled, the Jews [got advice] to kill [Saul.] But their laying [in wait, a.k.a. to ambush,] was known [by] Saul. And day & night, they watched the gates to kill [Saul.] Then, the disciples took [Saul at] night, & [lowered] him down the wall in a basket.

And when Saul [came] to Jerusalem, he [attempted] to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of Him, & [didn't] believe that [Saul] was a disciple. But Barnabas took [Saul,] & brought him to the apostles. And declared to them how [Saul] had seen the Lord [on] the [road,] & that [the Lord] had spoken to him. And how [Saul] had preached boldly in the Name of Jesus, [in] Damascus.

And [Saul] was with [the apostles, in] Jerusalem, coming in & going out. And [Saul spoke] boldly in the Name of the Lord Jesus, & disputed against the Grecians, [a.k.a. Greek-speaking Jews, or Jews scattered among the Gentiles.] But they went [around] [planning] to [kill Saul.] When the brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] knew [that,] they brought [Saul] down to Caesarea, & sent him [out] to Tarsus.

Then the churches throughout all Judaea, [a.k.a. Judea,] Galilee, & Samaria had rest, & were edified, [a.k.a. enlightened.] And [those] were multiplied, [who] [walked, a.k.a. followed,] in the fear, [a.k.a. respect] of the Lord, & in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.]

And it [happened,] as Peter passed throughout all quarters, [a.k.a. regions,] he also came down to the saints, [a.k.a. Christians, who lived] in Lydda. And [Peter] found there a man named Aeneas, [who] was [paralyzed] & had kept [to] his bed 8 years. And Peter said to him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ [makes] you whole. Arise, & make your bed. And [Aeneas] immediately arose. And all, [who] dwelt at Lydda, & Saron, saw [Aeneas,] & turned to the Lord.

Now, [in] Joppa, there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which [is interpreted] & called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works, &  [charitable deeds that] she did.

And it [happened,] in those days, that [Dorcas] was sick, & died. Whom , when they had washed, [preparing her body,] they laid her in an upper [room.] And [since] Lydda, was [close] to Joppa, & the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent 2 men to [Peter,] desiring that he wouldn't delay [in coming] to them.

Then, Peter arose & went with them. When [Peter had arrived,] they brought him to the upper [room.] And all the widows stood by [Peter] weeping, & [showing] [to him,] the coats & garments [that] Dorcas had made, while she was with them. But Peter put them all [out,] & kneeled down, & prayed.

And turning [himself] to the body, said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes, & when she saw Peter, she sat up. And [Peter] gave [Tabitha] his hand, & lifted her up.

And when [Peter] had called the saints & widows, presented her alive. And it was known throughout all Joppa, & many believed in the Lord. And it [happened,] that [Peter stayed] many days in Joppa, with one, Simon, a tanner, [a.k.a. who tans animal hides.]
