About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Romans 6:1-23 If We Have Grace Through Christ, Should We Continue to Sin?

If We Have Grace Through Christ, Should We Continue to Sin?

Romans 6:1-23       The Epistle [a.k.a. Letter] of Paul to the Romans [in Smaller Chunks]

Then, what shall we say? Shall we continue [to] sin, [so] that grace may abound? [Let it not be so.] How shall we, [who] are dead [through our] sin, live [in it,] any longer?

[Don't] you know, that many of us, [who] were baptized into [Life through] Jesus Christ, were [also] baptized into His death? Therefore, we are [also] buried with Him [through] baptism into death. [So] like Christ was raised up from the dead, by the glory of the Father, even so, we also should walk, [a.k.a. follow,] with [a] [renewed] life. [Colossians 2:12 Buried with Him [through] baptism, [in which] you also are risen with Him through the faith [by] the [power] of God, Who [has] raised [Christ] from the dead.]

For if we have been [joined] together [similarly through Christ's] death, & we shall also [be joined] [similarly in Christ's] resurrection. Knowing that our old [sinful] man is crucified with [Jesus, so] that the [sinful] body might be destroyed, [so] that [from now on,] we should [no] [longer] serve [what is:] [sinful.]

For he, [who] is dead [to sin,] is freed from sin. Now, if we [are] dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him. [Revelation 3:5-6 He, [who overcomes,] shall be clothed in white [clothing,] & I won't blot out his name, [from] the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father, & before His Angels. He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [says] to the churches.

Knowing that Christ [is] raised from the dead, [& doesn't] die [anymore.] Death no [longer has authority] over Him. For in that, [Christ] died, He died [for the] sin [of all of us] once, but in that He [lives, Christ lives] unto God.

Likewise, you, indeed, also [consider] yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, [don't] let sin [rule] in your mortal, [a.k.a. perishible,] body, [so] that you should [no longer] obey in [its] lusts.

Neither yield, [a.k.a. surrender,] your [body's] members as instruments of unrighteousness [that lead] to sin. But yield, [a.k.a. surrender,] yourselves to God, [like] those, [who] are alive from the dead. And [use] your [body's] members as instruments [for] righteousness to God. For sins shall not have dominion, [a.k.a. control,] over you.

For you aren't under the Law [of Moses,] but [are] under [the free gift of] grace. What then? Shall we [continue to] sin, because we aren't under the Law, but [are] under grace? [Let it not be so.]

[Don't] you know, to whom you yield yourselves [like] servants to obey, & [as] his servants, you are to obey whom you [serve,] whether [you obey ] [sinful] [desires that lead] to death, or [to] obedience [to the Lord, which leads] to righteousness?

But [thanks] be [to] God, that you [previously] were the servants of sin, but you [now] [obey] from the heart, the doctrine, [a.k.a. teaching, that] was delivered to you [about Jesus Christ.] [Romans 10:9 That if you [shall] confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, & [shall] believe in your heart that God [has] raised Him from the dead, you [shall] be saved.]

Then, being made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.

[2 Corinthians 5:21 For God has made [the Lord,] Who knew no sin, to be [the atonement for] sin for us, [so] that we might be made the righteousness of God [through] Him.]

I speak, [according to the custom] of men, because of the [weakness] of your flesh. [Since,] you have yielded your [body's] members [like] servants to [what is:] [unclean & sinful,] [which leads] to [more sin.] Even so, you now [give control] [of] your [body's] members to [what is:] [righteous & holy.]

For when you were the servants of sin, you were [without] righteousness. Then, what fruit, [a.k.a. benefit,] [do] you [have] in those things [that you used to do,] [of which,] you are now ashamed? For the end of those [sinful] things is death.

But, now being made free from [sinful] [desires, you have] become the servants to God, & you [produce] fruit, [that leads] to holiness, & [ends] [with] Everlasting Life.

For the wages of sin, is death. But the [free] gift of [grace from] God, is Eternal Life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
