About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Corinthians 7:1-40 About Being: Married & Unmarried

About Being: Married & Unmarried

1 Corinthians 7:1-40   Paul's 1st Epistle to the Corinthians [in Smaller Chunks]

Now, [related] [to] the things [of which] you wrote to me. It is good for a man not to touch a woman. [Still,] to avoid fornication, [a.k.a. sexual relations outside of marriage,] let every man have his own wife, & let every woman have her own husband.

Let the husband [give] to the wife, due benevolence. And also the wife [shall do] [the same] to the husband. The wife [doesn't have] power [over] her own body, but the husband [does.] And also [the same,] the husband [doesn't have] power [over] his own body, but the wife [does.]

[Don't] defraud, [a.k.a. deprive,] one another, [unless it's] with consent for a [certain period of] time, [so] that you may give yourselves to fasting & prayer. And come together again, [so] that Satan [doesn't] tempt you, [because of] your [inconsistency.] [1 Peter 5:8 You be sober & vigilant; because your [enemy,] the devil, [is] like a roaring lion, [walking around,] seeking whom he may devour.]

But I speak this, [by way of:] permission [allowing it,] & not [by way of a] commandment. For I [want] that all men were even as I, myself. But every man [has] his proper gift [from] God. One [according] [to] this [type] [of gift from God,] & another, [according] [to] that [type.]

Therefore, I say to the unmarried & [the] widows, it is good for them, if they abide, [a.k.a. remain,] even [like] I [am.] But if they can't contain, [a.k.a. restrain,] [themselves,] let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn [with lust.] [1Timothy 5:14-15 Therefore, I [wish] that the younger women marry; bear children; guide, [a.k.a. oversee,] the house; & give [no] occasion to the [enemy] to speak reproachfully, [a.k.a. judgmentally.] For some [have] already turned aside, [a.k.a. gone astray,] after Satan.]

And I command to the married, [still] not I, but the Lord. [Don't] let the wife depart from her husband. [Matthew 5:32 But I say to you, That [whoever] shall put away, [a.k.a. divorce,] his wife, [except] for the [reason] of fornication, [a.k.a. infidelity, causes] her to commit adultery. And [whoever] shall marry her, [who] is divorced, [commits] adultery.]

But if she [departs,] let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband. And [don't] let the husband put away, [a.k.a. divorce,] his wife. But to the rest, I speak, not the Lord, If any brother [in the faith,] [has] a wife, [who doesn't believe] [in Christ,] & she [is] pleased to [live] with him, [don't] let him put her away, [a.k.a. divorce her.]

And the woman, [who has a] husband, [who doesn't believe] [in Jesus Christ,] & if he [is] pleased to [live] with her, [don't] let her leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife. And the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: [or] else your children were unclean; but now they are holy. [Ezra 9:2 for they have taken [from] their daughters for themselves, & for their sons. So, that the holy seed, [a.k.a. Israelites,] have mingled, [a.k.a. intermixed,] themselves with the people of those lands. [Yes,] the hand of the princes & rulers [have] been chief, [a.k.a. foremost,] in this trespass, [a.k.a. sin.]

But if the unbelieving [departs,] let him depart. [In the faith,] a brother or a sister isn't under bondage, [a.k.a. under the commandments of the Law of Moses,] in such cases. But God [has] called us to peace. [Romans 12:18 If it [is] possible, as much as you [are able,] live [peacefully] with all men.]

For what [do] you [know,] O wife, whether you [shall] save your husband? Or how [do] you [know,] O man, whether you [shall] save your wife? But [like] God [has] distributed to every man, & [like] the Lord [has] called everyone, let him walk so, [a.k.a. accordingly.]

And so I ordain [this] in all churches. Is any man being circumcised, called? Let him not become uncircumcised. Is [anyone, uncircumcised,] called? Let him not [become] circumcised. Circumcision is nothing. And uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Let every man abide, [a.k.a. remain,] in the same calling, [with which] he was called. Are you, being a servant, called? [Don't worry about] it. But if you [are] made free, use it [instead] [to benefit the Lord God.] For being a servant, he [who] is called in the Lord, is the Lord's freeman.

[In the same way,] also he, [who] is called, being free, is Christ's servant. You are bought with a price. [Matthew 20:28 *Even [like] the Son of Man [didn't come] to be ministered to, [a.k.a. served,] but to minister, [a.k.a. to serve,] & to give His Life [as] a Ransom for many.

[Don't] be the servants of men. Brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] let every man abide, [a.k.a. remain,] with God, in [whichever] [thing] he is called [to do.] Now, [related] [to] virgins, I have no commandment [from] the Lord. [Still,] I give my judgment, as [someone who has] obtained mercy [from] the Lord, to be faithful.

Therefore, I suppose that this is good for the present, [a.k.a. current,] distress, & I say, that it is good for a man to be so, [a.k.a. unmarried,] [& dedicated to the Lord.]

[Are] you bound to a wife? [Don't] seek to be [loosened] [from this contract.] [Are] you [loosened, a.k.a. divorced,] from a wife? [Don't] seek a wife. But if you marry, you [haven't] sinned. And if a virgin [marries,] she [hasn't] sinned. [However,] [those] such [as these,] shall have trouble [within] the flesh; but I spare, [a.k.a. excuse,] you.

But I say this, brethren, the time is short. It [remains,] that both [those, who] have wives, be [dedicated to the Lord,] as [if] they had none [to distract them.] And [those, who] weep, [be dedicated,] as though they [hadn't wept.] And [those, who] rejoice, [be dedicated,] as [if] they [hadn't] rejoiced. And [those, who] buy [property, be dedicated,] as [if] they [hadn't] possessed, [a.k.a. owned it.]

And [those, who] use this [world's] [resources, be dedicated,] as [if] [they wouldn't] [abuse] it. For the fashion of this world [passes] away. [1 John 2:17 And the world & [its] lusts, [pass] away. But [those, who do] the will of God, [abide, a.k.a. remain,] forever.]

But I would [like to] have you [be] without carefulness, [a.k.a. caution.] He, who] is unmarried, [cares about] the things that belong to the Lord, & how he may please the Lord. But he, [who] is married, [cares about] the things that are of the world, & how he may please his wife.

There is also a difference between a wife & a virgin. The unmarried woman [cares about] the things of the Lord, [so] that she may be holy in both: body & spirit. But she, [who] is married, [cares about] the things of the world, & how she may please her husband.

And I speak this for your own [benefit.] Not that I may cast a snare upon, [a.k.a. ensnare,] you, but [because] [of] that which is comely, [a.k.a. beguiling, so] that you may attend [to] the [Lord's] [needs] without distraction.

But if any man [thinks] that he [behaves inappropriately] toward his virgin [daughter,] if [she's past] the flower of her age, [a.k.a. age of bearing children,] & [as] need [requires,] let him do what he [wants,] so he [doesn't] sin. Let them marry.

[However,] he, [who stands steadfast, a.k.a. devoted,] in his heart [to the Lord God,] & [has] no necessity, but [has] power over his own will, & has [decided this] in his heart, that he will keep his virgin [daughter unmarried,] [does] well. So then, he, [who gives] her in marriage [does] well; but he, [who doesn't give] her in marriage [does] better.

The wife is bound by the law, as long as her husband [lives.] But if her husband [is] dead, she is at liberty, [a.k.a. free,] to be married, only [through] the Lord, to whom she [wants.] But  I have the Spirit of God, & [according] [to] my judgment, I also think she is happier, if she [abides] so, [a.k.a. remains a virgin.]
