About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Hebrews 4:1-16 Jesus Christ is Our Great High Priest, Who Feels & Is Moved by Our Troubles

Jesus Christ is Our Great High Priest, Who Feels & Is Moved by Our Troubles

Hebrews 4:1-16    Paul's Epistle to the Hebrews [in Smaller Chunks]

Therefore, let us fear, [a.k.a. respect,] [the Lord God,] lest, any of you, [of the] promise, [about Jesus Christ, who] [have] left us, [by] entering into his rest, [a.k.a. died,] should seem to [fall] short of it. [2 Peter 3:3-5 Knowing this 1st, that in the last days, there shall come scoffers, [a.k.a unbelievers,] walking, [a.k.a. following, according to] their own [worldly] lusts, & saying, Where is the promise of [Jesus Christ's] coming? For since the [forefathers] fell asleep, [a.k.a. died,] all things continue [like] they were from the Beginning of creation. For they are willingly ignorant of this, & the Word of God, [states] that the heavens were [created] [of ancient] [times,] & the earth, [stood] out of the water, & [within] the water.]

For the Gospel [about Christ,] was preached to us, as well as to them. But the Word [of God] preached [to them,] didn't [benefit] them, not being [confused] with [those, who have] faith [within] them, [who] heard it [preached.]

For we, [who] have believed, do enter into rest, [like the Lord God] said, As I have sworn in My wrath, [a.k.a. anger, whether] they shall enter into My rest. [Psalm 95:8-11 [Don't] harden your [hearts, like during] the day of temptation in the wilderness. When your [forefathers] tempted Me, & [tested,] Me, & saw My [works, a.k.a. miracles.] I was grieved with this generation, 40 long years, & said, It is a people, [who] err, [a.k.a. go astray,] in their hearts, & haven't known My ways. Unto whom, I [swore] in My wrath, that they should not enter into My rest.]

Although the works were finished from the foundation, [a.k.a. creation,] of the world. For [like this, the Lord God spoke about] the 7th day, in a certain place, And God [rested] the 7th day from all His works. [Genesis 2:1-3 [Like this,] the heavens & the earth were finished, & all the hosts of them. And on the 7th day, God ended His work, which He had made. And He rested on the 7th day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the 7th day, & sanctified it: because He had rested [on] it, from all His work which God created & made.]

And [it applies] in this place, [as well,] If they shall enter into My rest. [Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you, [who] labor & are heavy laden, [a.k.a. heavily burdened or oppressed,] & I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, & learn [from] Me; for I Am meek, [with a] lowly [a.k.a. humble,] heart. And you shall find rest [for] your souls. For My yoke is easy, & My burden is light.]

Therefore, [since] it [remains] [to be seen,] that some, must enter [in there,] & to [those] whom [Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ,] was 1st preached, [didn't enter] in, because unbelief, [a.k.a. disbelief.]

Again, [God limited] [it to] a certain day, saying [to] David, Today, after [such] a long time; as it is said, Today, if you will hear His voice, [don't] harden your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then wouldn't He afterward have spoken of another day.

Therefore, there [remains] a rest [on the Sabbath,] [for] the people of God. For He, [Who enters] His rest, shall also [stop] from His Own [work, like] God did from His. [Exodus 31:16-17 [For this reason,] the children, [a.k.a. people,] of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a [continual] Covenant, [a.k.a. contract.] It is a sign between Me, & the children of Israel forever. For in 6 days, the Lord made heaven & earth, & on the 7th day He rested, & was refreshed.]

Therefore, let us [labor, a.k.a. work,] to enter into that rest, lest any man [falls, a.k.a. is led astray, according to] the same example of [disbelief.] [Ezekiel 23:38-39 [Also,] they have done this to Me. They have defiled My sanctuary [on] the same day, & have profaned, [a.k.a. defiled,] My Sabbaths. For when they had [killed] & [sacrificed] their children to their idols, then they came the same day into My sanctuary to profane, [a.k.a. defile,] it. And [look] they have done [this] in the midst of [My] house.]

For the Word of God is quick, & powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to dividing the soul & spirit asunder, [a.k.a apart from each other.] [As well as,] [dividing] the joints [from] the marrow. And [the Lord God] is a discerner, [a.k.a. able to distinguish between,] the thoughts & intents of the heart. [1 Kings 8:39 Then, in heaven, Your dwelling place, You hear & forgive, & do. And give to every man, according to his ways, [a.k.a. actions,] whose heart you [know.] (For You, even only You, [know] the hearts of all the children of men.)]

Neither is there any creature that isn't manifest, [a.k.a. visible,] in [the Lord God's] sight. But all things are naked, [a.k.a. uncovered,] & opened to the eyes of Him, with Whom we have to [give account to.]

[Since] then, we have a great High Priest, Jesus, the Son of God, [Who has] passed into the heavens. Let us hold fast, [a.k.a. hold tight] [to] our profession [of faith in Jesus Christ.] For we [don't] have [a] High Priest, [Who] can't be touched, [a.k.a. affected,] [by] [feelings for] our infirmities, [a.k.a. afflictions.] [John 11:33-36 Therefore, when Jesus saw [Mary] weeping, & also the Jews weeping, [who] came with her, [Jesus] groaned [within] [His] spirit, & was troubled, & said, Where have they laid him? They said to [Jesus,] Lord, come & see. Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, [Look] how He loved him, [a.k.a. Lazarus!]

But was in all [ways,] [Jesus Christ was] tempted like we are, [but] [still] without sin. [Matthew 4:5-7 Then, the devil [took Jesus Christ] up into the Holy City, & [set] Him on a pinnacle, [a.k.a. high point,] of the temple, & said to Him, If You [are] the Son of God, cast Yourself down. For it is written [in the Scriptures,] [God] shall give His Angels, charge concerning You. And they shall bear You up in their hands, lest at any time, You dash Your foot against a stone. Jesus said to him, It is written again, You [shall] not tempt, [a.k.a. test,] the Lord your God.

Therefore, let us come boldly to the throne of grace, [so] that we may obtain, [a.k.a. receive,] mercy, & find grace to help in [times] of need.
