About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible:

About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Hebrews 5:1-14 Christ Didn't Glorify Himself as a High Priest, but God the Father Did

Christ Didn't Glorify Himself as a High Priest, but God the Father Did

Hebrews 5:1-14    Paul's Epistle to the Hebrews [in Smaller Chunks]

For every high priest [who has been] taken, [a.k.a. selected,] from among men, is ordained, [a.k.a. appointed,] for men, [for] things pertaining, [a.k.a. related,] to God, [so] that He may offer both: gifts & sacrifices for sins. [Hebrews 2:17 For this reason,] it [was necessary] [for] Him to be made [similar] to His brethren. [So] that He might be a merciful & faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.]

[A high priest,] who can have compassion on the ignorant, [a.k.a. unaware,] & [those, who have gone astray] [from the faith in Jesus Christ.] For that he, himself is also [surrounded] with infirmity, [a.k.a. weakness.] And [for] this reason, he [should] offer [sacrifices] for the sins [of] people, & also for himself.

And no man [takes] this [honor for] himself, but [only] He, [Who] is called [by] God, [like] Aaron was. So, Christ also [didn't] [glorify] Himself, [in order] to be made [a] high priest, but [God, Who] said to [Christ,] You [are] My Son, & today I have begotten You.

[Like God] also [said] in another place, You [are] a priest forever, [according to] the order of Melchisedec. [Genesis 14:18-19 And Melchizedek, [a.k.a. Melchisedec, Salem's] king, brought [out] bread & wine. And he was the priest of the Most High God. And [Melchizedek] blessed [Abram, a.k.a. Abraham,] & said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, possessor of heaven & earth.]

Who offered up prayers & [petitions,] with crying [heavily] & tears to [God, during] the days of his [life, Who] was able to save him from death, & was heard, in that, he feared, [a.k.a. respected,] [the Lord God.]

[Although Jesus Christ is] a Son, [still] He learned obedience [through] the things, [that] He suffered. [Romans 8:16-17 The [Holy] Spirit, Itself, [bears] witness, [a.k.a. testifies,] with our spirit, [through Jesus Christ,] that we are the children of God. And if [we are the] children [of God,] then [we are] the heirs of God, & the [also the] joint-heirs with Christ. If [it's] so that we [also] suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.]

And being made perfect, [Jesus Christ,] became the Author of Eternal Salvation to all [those, who] obey Him; called [by] God, [a] High Priest, [according to] the order of Melchisedec.

[About] whom, [a.k.a. Melchisedec,] we have many [difficult] things to say, [since] you are [hard] of hearing. [Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart [has grown coarse,] & their ears are [hard] of hearing, & they have closed their eyes, lest they should at anytime see with their eyes, & hear with their ears, & should understand with their heart, & [would] be converted, & I should heal them.]

For [during] the time, you [should] be teachers, you have [needed] that [someone] teach you again, [what are:] the 1st principles, of the oracles, [a.k.a. divine, wise sayings,] of God. And [you] [have] become [like] such as need milk, & not [mature in your faith, like those who need] strong meat. [1 Corinthians 3:1-3 And brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] I couldn't speak to you [about what is:] spiritual, but [like] to [what is:] carnal, [a.k.a. worldly desires,] even [like] babes [in their faith] in Christ. I have fed you with milk, & not with meat. For [until now,] you weren't able to bear it, & neither are you able, yet. For you are [still] carnal, [since] there [are] [those] among you: envying, [a.k.a. greedy;] [with both:] strife, [a.k.a. having arguments;] & divisions. Aren't you [worldly,] & walk, [a.k.a. follow, like] men?]

For everyone, [who uses] milk, is unskillful in [in understanding] the Word [of God,] of righteousness, for he is [still] a babe. But strong meat, [belongs] to [those, who] are of full age, [a.k.a. mature,] [in their faith.]

Even those who have [used] their senses [to] reason & discern, [a.k.a. to distinguish between,] both good & evil, [a.k.a. bad.]
