About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Peter 1:1-25 Your Faith is Much More Precious Than Gold that Can Perish

Your Faith is Much More Precious Than Gold that Can Perish

1 Peter 1:1-25     The 1st Epistle of Peter [in Smaller Chunks]

[From:] Peter, Jesus [Christ's] apostle, to the strangers, [a.k.a. foreigners,] scattered throughout: Pontus; Galatia; Cappadocia; Asia; & Bithynia. [Peter who is,] elect, [a.k.a. chosen,] according to God the [Father's] foreknowledge, through [the] sanctification [by] the [Holy] Spirit, [for:] obedience, & sprinkling of Jesus [Christ's] blood. [Romans 8:28-29 And we know that all things work together for good, to [those, who] love God, & to [those] who are called according to His purpose. For [those,] whom [the Lord God, foreknew, a.k.a. knew before,] [creation,] He also [predestined, a.k.a. chose ahead of time,] to [conform] to the image of His Son, [a.k.a. Jesus Christ. [So] that [Christ] might be the Firstborn, among many brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers.]

[May] grace & peace be multiplied to you. Blessed [is] the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [Who has] begotten, [a.k.a. Fathered,] us again, according to His abundant mercy, to a lively hope, [of Eternal Life,] [through] Jesus [Christ's] Resurrection from the dead. [John 3:15-17 That [whoever] believes in Him should not perish, but have Eternal Life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, [so] that [whoever believes] in Him, should not perish, but have Everlasting Life. For God [didn't send] His Son into the world, to condemn the world; but that the world might be saved through Him.]

[For] an [uncorruptible,] & undefiled inheritance in heaven for you, that [doesn't fade] away. [Colossians 1:4-5 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, & the love [that] you have [toward] all [God's] saints, for the hope which is laid up, [a.k.a. stored up,] for you in heaven, [of which,] you have [previously] heard in the Word of [God] & the Truth [about] [Jesus Christ in] the Gospel.]

[Those,] who are kept through faith [in Jesus Christ,] by the power of God, [until Salvation's] ready to be revealed in the Last Time, [a.k.a. on the Last Day.] [Revelation 21:2-4 And I, John, saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down, out of heaven from God, prepared [like] a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, [Look,] the tabernacle of God is with men. And He will dwell with them, & they shall be His people. And God, Himself, shall be with them, & be their God. *And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes And there shall no [longer] be: death; sorrow, nor crying. Neither shall there be anymore pain. For the [previous] things [have] passed away.]

[For this reason,] you greatly rejoice, now though, if need be, for a season, [a.k.a. some time ahead,] you are in heaviness, [a.k.a. are distressed,] through [many] temptations. That the trial, [a.k.a. test,] of your faith, might be found to [lead to:] praise; [honor;] & glory, at the [appearance] of Jesus Christ, [Who] [is] much more precious than gold that [perishes,] though it [is] tried, [a.k.a. refined,] with fire.

[Christ,] Whom you love, having not seen [Him.] In Whom, [although] you [don't] see Him now, [still believe] [in Jesus Christ,] & you, full of glory, rejoice with unspeakable joy. Receiving the end [goal] of your faith, even the Salvation of your souls.

The prophets, who prophesied [about] the grace [of Jesus Christ,] that should come to you, & have [inquired,] & diligently searched for [this] Salvation. [Ephesians 3:7-8 [Since,] I was made a minister [of the Gospel,] according to the gift of grace [from] God, given to me by [God's] [effective work,] [through] His power. To me, who am less [important] than, the least of all [God's] saints. This grace [was] given, [so] I should preach the unsearchable [richness] of Christ among the Gentiles.]

Searching, [a.k.a. trying to figure out,] what time the [Holy] Spirit, [Who] was [within] them [signified, a.k.a. meant,] when [He] testified beforehand, [about] [Christ's suffering] & the glory of Christ, that should follow. [2 Peter 1:20-21 First, know this, that no prophecy [from] the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy [didn't] come, [a.k.a. exist,] in [ancient times,] by the will of man: but holy men of God, [spoke] as they were moved, [a.k.a. led,] by the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit.]

[In] that, [Jesus Christ, our Savior,] [wasn't] revealed to [them,] but [was revealed] unto us, whom they did [prophesy] the things, which are now reported to you, by [those, who] have preached the Gospel to you, with the Holy Ghost, [a.k.a. Holy Spirit,] sent down from heaven to you. [1 Corinthians 15:3-11 *For I, [a.k.a. Paul, & Saul,] first delivered to you all of what I also received, & how Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. *And that He was buried, & that He rose again the 3rd day, according to the Scriptures. And that [Christ] was seen [by] Cephas, [a.k.a. Simon Peter,] & then [by] the 12. After that, He was seen [by over] 500 brethren at once; of whom the greater part, [a.k.a. majority,] remain [until] this [day,] but some [have] fallen asleep, [a.k.a. died.] After that, He was seen [by] James, & then, [by] all the apostles. And last of all, [Christ ] was also seen [by] me, [like a past due baby that is] born. For I am the least of the apostles, & am not [worthy] to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God, I am what I am. And His grace was bestowed upon me, wasn't [done] in vain. But I [labored] more abundantly than all [of] [them.] [Still,] not I, but the grace of God, [Who] was [within] me. Therefore, whether it [was] I, [who preached,] or they, we preach so, [a.k.a. this,] & so you believed.]

[These] things, the Angels [desired] to [see.] [Matthew 21:31 When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, & all the Holy Angels with Him, then He shall sit upon the throne of His glory.]

[For this reason,] [like you] [strap up your waist,] [preparing for a battle, prepare] your mind, & be: sober, [a.k.a. solemn,] & hope [until] The End, for the grace that is to be brought to you, at the [revealing] of Jesus Christ. [Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which [passes] all understanding, shall keep your hearts & minds through Christ Jesus.]

[Being] [like] obedient children, & not [fashioned,] according to [your previous] lusts, [a.k.a. worldly desires,] [you did] in your ignorance, [a.k.a. prior to being aware.] But [like Jesus Christ, Who has] called you is Holy, so you [are] Holy in all [types] of conversation; because it is written [in the Scriptures,] Be Holy; for I Am Holy.

And if you call on the Father, Who [Judges] according to every man's work, without respect of persons, [a.k.a. without partiality,] pass your time [wandering] here, [a.k.a. on earth,] in fear, [a.k.a. in respect,] [of the Lord God.]

[Since] you know that you weren't Redeemed with corruptible things, [a.k.a. things that can corrode, like] silver & gold, [& you weren't Redeemed by] your vain, [a.k.a. prideful,] conversation [which you] received by your [forefathers' traditions.] [Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is [focused] [on] heaven; from [where] we also look for the [Savior,] the Lord Jesus Christ.]

*But [you were Redeemed] with the precious blood of Christ, [like] a lamb without blemish & without spot, [a.k.a. without sin.] [Isaiah 53:6-7 *All we, like sheep, have gone astray. We have, everyone, turned to his own [ways.] And the Lord [has put] on Him, the [sin] of us all. *He was oppressed, & He was afflicted, [still] He [didn't open] His mouth. He is brought [like] a lamb to the slaughter, & [like] a sheep is [mute] before [its] shearers, so He [didn't open] His mouth.]

Who [truly] was [foreordained, a.k.a. preappointed,] before the foundation of the world. But [Jesus Christ] was manifest, [a.k.a. made visible,] in these last times for you, who believe in God, [Who] raised [Jesus Christ] up from the dead, & gave Him glory, [so] that your faith & hope might be in God. [Hebrews 13:20 Now, [may] the God of Peace, [Who] brought our Lord Jesus [up] again from the dead, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the Everlasting Covenant.]

[Since] you have [obeyed] the Truth, through the [Holy] Spirit, & purified your souls, [with a sincere] love of brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] see that you [continually] love one another with a pure heart. [Romans 10:12-13 For there is no difference between the Jew & the Greek, [a.k.a. Gentile,] for the same Lord over all, is rich to all, [who] call upon Him. For [whoever] shall call upon the Name of the Lord, shall be saved.]

[You,] being born again, & not [from] corruptible seed, but [are] [without corruption, through] the Word of God, [Who lives] & [abides, a.k.a. remains,] forever.

For all flesh is [like] grass. And all the glory of man [is] [like] the [flowers] [of the] grass. The grass [withers,] & [its] flower [dies &] falls away, but the Word of the Lord [endures] forever. [1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this [reason,] we also thank God without ceasing. Because when you received the Word of God, which you heard [from] us, you [didn't receive] it [like] the word [from] men, but [like] it is in Truth, the Word of God, which also [works effectively,] in you, [who] believe.]

And this is the Word, by which the Gospel is preached to you. [Isaiah 40:8 The grass [withers,] the flower [fades:] but the Word of our God, shall stand forever.]
