About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Peter 4:1-19 We Should Be Doing God's Will Instead of Doing the Lusts of the Flesh

We Should Be Doing God's Will Instead of Doing the Lusts of the Flesh

1 Peter 4:1-19      The 1st Epistle of Peter [in Smaller Chunks]

[Since] then, Christ [has] suffered in the flesh for us, [similarly] with the same mind, arm yourselves. For he, [who has] suffered in the flesh, [has] ceased from sin. [Romans  5:21 That sin [has ruled] [leading to] death, even so grace might [rule] through righteousness [leading to] Eternal Life, [through] [faith in] Jesus Christ our Lord.]

[So] that, he should no longer live the rest of his [life] in the flesh, to: the lusts, [a.k.a. desires,] of men, but [live to do] the will of God. For [in] [previous times] of our life, [we] may have [been] [satisfied doing] the will of the Gentiles, when we walked, [a.k.a. followed:] [immorality; lustful desires; excesses] of wine & [food; wild parties; & idolatry,] [which is] abominable. [Romans 6:20-23 For when you were the servants [to] sin, you were [without] righteousness. What fruit [have] you [produced,] then, in those things, [of which] you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But being made free from sin, now [that you believe in Jesus Christ, you've] become servants to God, & you [produce] your fruit, [that leads] to holiness. And [at] the End, Everlasting Life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.]

[In which] they think [it's] strange, & [speak] evil of you, that you [don't] run with them to [do] the same [excesses] of: [riotous living.] Who shall give [an] account to [God, Who] is ready to Judge the [living] & the dead. [2 Timothy 4:1 Therefore, I charge you, [a.k.a. give you the responsibility,] before God, & the Lord Jesus Christ, Who shall judge the quick, [a.k.a. alive,] & the dead at His [appearance, in] His Kingdom.]

For this [reason,] the Gospel [about Jesus Christ,] was also [previously] preached to [those, who] are dead, [so] that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, [a.k.a. those alive,] but live according to the Spirit [of] God. [Romans 8:9 But you aren't [following] in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God [dwells within] you. Now, if any man [doesn't] have the Spirit of Christ [within him,] he isn't [Christ's] [follower.]

But the end of all things is at hand. [1 Timothy 4:1 Now the [Holy] Spirit clearly says,] In the latter times, some shall [leave] from the faith, [paying attention] to seducing spirits, & doctrines of [demons.]

Therefore, you be sober, & watch, [prayerfully.] And above all things have fervent, [a.k.a. extreme passion for:] charity, [a.k.a. love,] among yourselves. For charity shall cover [a] multitude of sins.

Use hospitality [with] one another, without [grumbling.] [Like] every man [has] received the gift [of grace,] even so, the same [person shall] minister to one another, [like] good stewards of the [multitude] of [God's] grace.

If any man [speaks,] let him speak [like] [with] the oracles, [a.k.a. wisdom,] of God. If any man [ministers,] let him do it, [like] [with] the ability [that] [only] God [gives.] [So] that God may be glorified in all things, through Jesus Christ, to Whom [belongs:] praise, & dominion, [a.k.a. power,] forever & ever. Amen.

Beloved, [a.k.a. fellow-believers, don't] think [it's] strange, as though some strange thing has happened to you, [related to] the fiery trial [that] is to try, [a.k.a. test,] you. But rejoice, [in that] you are [participants] of Christ's sufferings. [So] when His glory shall be revealed, you may be [exceedingly] glad with joy. [James 1:2-3 My brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers, consider] it all [a] joy, when you fall into [various] temptations. [Know] this, that the trying, [a.k.a. testing,] of your faith, [produces] patience.]

If you [are] reproached, [a.k.a. ridiculed,] for the Name of Christ, you [should be] happy, for the [Holy] Spirit of Glory, & [God's] [Spirit] [rests] upon you. [When they] [speak about Christ,] their part [of the conversation] is evil. But [Christ] is glorified, [when you speak,] your part. [Matthew 5:11-12 Blessed are you, when men shall [ridicule] you, & persecute you, & shall say all [types] of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, & be [exceedingly] glad: for great is your reward in heaven. For they persecuted the prophets [this way, who] were before you.]

But [don't] let [any] of you suffer [for being] [like] a: murderer; thief; [someone who does] [what is:] evil; or [like] a busybody, [a.k.a. meddler,] in other men's matters. [Proverbs 20:19 He [who goes around] as a tale-bearer, [a.k.a. gossip, reveals] secrets. Therefore, [don't] meddle, [a.k.a. participate,] with him, [who flatters] with his lips.]

[Still,] if any man [suffers] as a Christian, [don't] let him be ashamed. But let him glorify God, on [His] behalf. For the time [has] come, that judgment must begin [with] the [household] of God. And if it 1st [begins] [with] us, what shall the end be [for those, who don't] obey the Gospel of God? [Revelation 20:12-15 *And [watch,] I come quickly. And My reward is with Me, & shall be to give every man, according [like] his work, [a.k.a. deeds.] I Am [the] Alpha & Omega, the Beginning, & the End, the First, & the Last. Blessed are [those, who] do His commandments, [so] that they may have right to the Tree of Life, & may enter in through the gates into the city. For [outside] are: dogs; sorcerers; [sexual traffickers;] murderers; idolaters; & [whoever loves] & [makes] [up] [lies.]

And if the righteous [are] scarcely, [a.k.a. rarely,] saved, where shall the ungodly & the [sinners] appear? [2 Peter 3:9-10 The Lord is not slack, [a.k.a. slow,] concerning His promise, [like] some men [consider] slackness; but is long-suffering, [a.k.a. patient,] not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. *But the Day of the Lord will come [like] a thief in the night. In which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, & the elements shall melt with fervent heat, & also the earth & the works, [a.k.a. things made,] that are [in there,] shall be burned up.]

[For this reason,] let [those, who] suffer according to [God's] will, commit the keeping of their souls to [Christ,] [by] doing [good, like] to a faithful Creator. [2 Timothy 1:12 For [this reason,] I also suffer these things; [however,] I'm not ashamed. For I know, [Jesus Christ, in] Whom, I have believed, & am persuaded that He is able to keep, that which I committed to Him, against that day.]
