About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

1 Peter 3:1-22 Don't Return Evil for Evil & Insults for Insults to You

Don't Return Evil for Evil & Insults for Insults to You

1 Peter 3:1-22     The 1st Epistle of Peter [in Smaller Chunks]

[Similarly,] you wives, [are to] be in subjection, [a.k.a. yield to the authority of,] your own husbands; [so] that, if any [husbands] [don't] obey the Word [of God, that] [those] [husbands, who are] without the Word [of God,] may be won by the conversation, [a.k.a. guidance,] of the wives; while they [observe] your chaste, [a.k.a. morally pure,] conversation, coupled with fear, [a.k.a. respect.]

Whose adorning, [a.k.a. beauty, isn't] [to] be that outward [beauty,] of [braiding] hair; wearing gold; or putting on [clothes.] But let [beauty] be [those things] that [aren't] corruptible, hidden [within] the heart of man. Even the [ornaments] of: a meek, [a.k.a. humble,] & quiet spirit, which in the sight of God, is of great [value.]

For in [ancient times,] the holy women, who trusted in God, also [did] [according to] this, & adorned themselves, being [under the authority] to their own husbands. Even [like Sarah] obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: [of] whose, [a.k.a. Abraham's,] daughters you are, as long as you do well, & aren't afraid with any [terror.] [Genesis 18:12-14 Therefore, Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I [have grown] old, shall I have pleasure, my lord, [a.k.a. Abraham,] being old, [as well?] And the Lord said to Abraham, [Why] did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I, [who] am old, [certainly] bear a child? Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you, according to the time of life, & Sarah shall have a son.]

[Also, so] that your prayers [aren't] hindered, you husbands, dwell, [a.k.a. live,] with them, [a.k.a. your wives, wisely,] giving [honor] to the wife, [like] to the weaker vessel, as together being heirs of the grace of [Eternal] Life. [John 3:15-17 That [whoever believes] in Him should not perish, but have Eternal Life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, [so] that, [whoever believes] in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life. For God [didn't send] His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.]

Finally, all you be of one mind, [a.k.a. like-minded,] having: compassion [for] one another; love [each other] [like] brethren; be pitiful, [a.k.a. merciful;] & be courteous. [Don't repay] evil for evil [done to you,] or [insults] for [insults] [to you,] but [instead] [repay these with] [blessings;] knowing that you are called [to do this, so] that you should inherit a blessing. [Matthew 5:44-46 But I say to you, Love your enemies, & bless [those, who] curse you. Do good to [those, who] hate you, & pray for [those, who spitefully] use you, & persecute you. [So] that, you may be the children of your Father, [Who] is in heaven. For He [makes] His sun to rise on the evil & on the good, & [sends] rain on the just & on the unjust. For if you love [those, who] love you, what reward [do] you have? Don't even the publicans, [a.k.a. tax collectors,] [do] [the same?]

Let him refrain his tongue from [saying what is:] evil, & his lips [from speaking deceitfully,] for he will love life, & see good days. Let him eschew, [a.k.a. turn away from,] evil, & do good. Let him seek peace, & [pursue] it.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous. And His ears are open to their prayers. But the face of the Lord is against [those, who] do evil. [Acts 3:19 Therefore, you repent, & be converted, [so] that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. *And He shall send Jesus Christ, [Who] was preached to you previously.]

And who is he, [who] will harm you, if you [are] followers of [the Lord God, Who] is good? But if you suffer for [the] sake [of the] [righteous,] you are happy. And [don't] be afraid of their terror, & [don't] be troubled. [James 1:12 Blessed is the man, [who endures] temptation. For when he is tried, [a.k.a. tested,] he shall receive the Crown of Life, which the Lord [has] promised to [those, who] love Him.]

But [within] your hearts, sanctify the Lord God: & always be ready to give an answer [about the Lord God,] with meekness, [a.k.a. humility,] & fear, [a.k.a. respect,] to every man, [who asks] you [about] a reason [for] hope. [Titus 3:6-7  Which [the Lord God] shed, [a.k.a poured out,] on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our [Savior; so] that, being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs, according to the hope of Eternal Life.]

[Have] a good conscience; [so] that, [since] they speak evil of you, [like] [they speak of those, who] [do evil, so those, who] falsely accuse your good conversation [about] Christ, may be ashamed. For it is better, if the will of God [is] [done] so that you suffer for doing [good, instead of] for doing [what is:] evil.

For Christ [has] also suffered once for [our] sins, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened, [a.k.a. made alive, through] the [Holy] Spirit, for the just, & the unjust, [so] that He might bring us to God. By [Holy Spirit, Christ,] also went and preached to the spirits [of those] in prison. [Isaiah 61:1 *The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me; because the Lord [has] anointed Me to preach good tidings, [a.k.a. good news,] to the meek, [a.k.a. humble.] He [has] sent Me to bind, [a.k.a. bandage,] up the broken-hearted; to proclaim liberty, [a.k.a. freedom,] to the captives; & the opening of the prison, to [those, who] are bound, [a.k.a. in chains.]

[Sometimes] [these people] were disobedient. [Genesis 6:5-8 And God saw the wickedness of man was great [on] the earth, & every imagination of his [heart's] thoughts [were] continually only evil. And it [saddened] the Lord that He had made man on the earth, & it grieved [God's] heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man, whom I've created from the [surface] of the earth. Both: man; [animals;] creeping [things; & birds] of the air; for it [sorrows] Me, that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.]

Once, when God, long-suffering, [a.k.a. endured,] & waited, [during] the days of Noah, while the ark was [being] [prepared, in which] few, that is 8 souls were saved by water. [Genesis 7:23-24 And every living substance upon the [surface] of the ground was destroyed, both: man; [animals;] creeping things, & [birds] of the [heavens;] & they were destroyed from the earth. And only Noah remained alive, & [those, who] were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed 150 days upon the earth.]

Like, [symbolically] the [water used,] even [in] baptism, also now [saves] us, (not [by] [cleansing] away the filth of the flesh, [a.k.a. skin,] but the [baptismal water is] the answer [for cleansing us from the sins of the worldly flesh, providing] a good conscience toward God,) [through] the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. [Acts 16:30-33 And [the prison guard] brought them out, & said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe [in] the Lord Jesus Christ, & you & your [household shall] be saved. And they [spoke] the Word of the Lord to him, & to all, [who] were his house. And [the guard] took them the same hour of the night, & washed their stripes, [a.k.a. whip marks,] & he & all his [household,] were baptized [right away.]

Christ,] Who [has] gone into heaven, & is on the right hand of God, & angels; authorities; & powers [are] made subject to Him, [a.k.a. they are under Jesus Christ's governing power.] [Ephesians 1:20-22 Which [God worked through] Christ, when He raised [Christ] from the dead, & [put] Him on His Own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, power, [strength,] & dominion, & every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. And [has] put all things under [Christ's] feet, & gave Him to be the head over all things [for] the church.]
