And write to the Angel of the church in Sardis; He, [Who has] the 7 Spirits of God, & the 7 stars, [says] these things, I know your works, [a.k.a. deeds,] & that you [have] a [famous] name, that you [live] [up to,] & [are] dead. [Romans 5:21 [So] that, [like] sin [has ruled] [leading to] death, even so grace might [rule,] through righteousness, [leading to] Eternal Life [through] Jesus Christ our Lord.] |
Be watchful, & strengthen the things [that] remain, & [were] ready to die [out.] [1 Corinthians 12:13 And now faith; hope; & charity, [remain,] but the greatest of these 3 is charity, [a.k.a. love.] |
For I haven't found your [deeds] perfect before God. Therefore, remember how you [have] received & [what you] heard, & hold fast, [a.k.a. hold tight to it,] & repent. [1 Corinthians 15:3-9 * For first, I delivered to you all of [what] I also received, & how Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures. *And that He was buried, & that He rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures. And that He was seen [by] Cephas, [a.k.a. Simon Peter,] & then [by] the 12. After that, He was seen [by over] 500 brethren at once, of whom the greater part, [a.k.a. the majority,] remain [until] this [day,] but some [have] fallen asleep, [a.k.a. have died.] After that, [Christ] was seen [by] James, & then [by] all the apostles. And last of all, He was also seen [by] me, [a.k.a. Paul, or Saul,] [like an overdue baby that is] born. For I am the least of the apostles, & that [I'm] not [worthy] to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.] |
Therefore, if you [shall] not watch, I will come on you, [like] a thief, & you [shall] not know what hour I will come upon you. [Daniel 12:6-9 And one said to the man clothed in linen, [who] was upon the [rivers'] waters, How long shall it be [until] the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, [who] was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right & left [hands] to heaven, & [swore] by Him, [Who lives] forever & ever, that it shall be for: a time; times; & [1/2] [a time.] And when He shall have accomplished, [a.k.a. finished, scattering] the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. And I heard, but I [didn't] understand. Then, I said, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go [on] your way, Daniel. For the Words are closed up & sealed [until] the time of the end.] |
You, even in Sardis, [have] a few [named, who] haven't defiled their garments. For they are worthy, & they shall walk with Me in white. He, [who overcomes,] the same [person] shall be clothed in white [clothing.] And I won't blot out his name [from] the Book of Life, but I will confess his name [in front of] My Father, & before His Angels. [Exodus 32:33 *And the Lord said to Moses, [Whoever has] sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My Book.] |
He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the [Holy] Spirit [says] to the churches. *And write to the Angel of the church in Philadelphia, He, [Who] Is Holy, & He, [Who] Is True, He, [Who has] the key of David, & He, [Who opens] [the door,] & no man [shuts,] & [He] [shuts] & no man [opens, says,] these things. I know your works, [a.k.a. deeds. Watch,] I have [put] an open door [in front of] you, & no man can shut it. For you [have] a little strength, & [have] kept My Word, & [haven't] denied My Name. [Matthew 10:32-33 Therefore, [whoever] shall confess Me before men, I will also confess him [in front of] My Father, [Who] Is in heaven. But [whoever] shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him [in front of] My Father, [Who] Is in heaven.] |
[Watch,] I will make [those] of the synagogue of Satan, [who] say they are Jews, but lie, & are not; [look,] I will make them, to come & worship [in front of] your feet, to know that I have loved you. |
Because you [have] kept the Word of [God, with] My patience, I will also keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try, [a.k.a. test, those, who] dwell upon the earth. |
[Watch,] I come quickly. Hold fast, [a.k.a. hold tight to,] that which you [have, so] that no man [takes] your crown. [Revelation 2:10 [Don't] fear [any] of those things [that] you [shall] suffer. [Watch,] the devil shall cast some of you into prison, [so] that you may be tried, [a.k.a. tested.] And you shall have tribulation 10 days. You, be faithful [until,] death, & I will give you a crown of Life.] |
I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, [for] him, [who overcomes.] And he shall no [longer] go out. And I will write upon him, the Name of My God, & the Name of the city of My God, which is New Jerusalem, which [comes] down from My God, out of heaven. [Revelation 21:2-4 *And I, John, saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, from God, prepared [like] a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, [Look,] the tabernacle of God is with men. And He will dwell with them, & they shall be His people. And God, Himself, shall be with them, & be their God. *And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there shall no [longer] be: death; sorrow; nor crying. Neither shall there be anymore pain. For the [previous] things [have] passed away.] |
And I will write My New Name upon him. [Philippians 2:9-11 *[For this reason,] God [has] also highly exalted [Jesus Christ,] & [has] given Him a Name, which is above every name, [so] that every knee should bow, of things in heaven, [on] earth, & things under the earth, at the Name of Jesus. *And [so] that every tongue should confess to the glory of God the Father, that Jesus Christ Is Lord.] |
He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the [Holy] Spirit [says] to the churches. And write to the church of the Laodiceans, The Amen, the Faithful & True Witness, the Beginning of the Creation of God, [says] these things; I know your works, [a.k.a. deeds,] & that you [are] neither cold nor hot. I [wish] you were cold or hot. So, because you [are] lukewarm, & neither cold nor hot, then I will spue, [a.k.a. hurl,] you out of My mouth. Because you [say,] I am rich, with increased goods, [a.k.a. possessions,] & have need of nothing, & [don't] [really] [know] that you [are:] wretched; miserable; poor; blind; & naked. [Proverbs 22:16 He, [who oppresses] the poor to increase his riches, & he, [who gives] to the rich, shall surely come to want, [a.k.a. poverty.] |
I [advise] you to buy gold [from] Me, tried, [a.k.a. tested or refined,] in the fire, [so] that you [may] be rich, & that you [may] be clothed [in] white [clothing, so] that, the shame of your nakedness [doesn't] appear. [Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that isn't manifest, [a.k.a. visible,] in [God's] sight. But all things are naked, [a.k.a. uncovered,] & opened to the eyes of Him, with Whom, we have to [give account to.] |
And anoint your eyes with eye-salve, [so] that you [may] see. [Ezekiel 12:1-2 The Word of the Lord also came to me, saying, Son of man, you [dwell, a.k.a. live,] in the midst of a rebellious house, [a.k.a. family, who] have eyes to see, & [don't] see. They have ears to hear, & [don't] hear: for they are a rebellious [family.] |
I rebuke, [a.k.a. reprimand,] & [chastise,] as many as I love. Therefore, be zealous, & repent. |
[Watch,] I stand at the door & knock. If any man [hears] My voice, & [opens] the door, I will come in to him, & will [dine] with him, & he with Me. I will grant to him [who overcomes] to sit with Me [on] My throne, even [like] I also overcame, & Am [sitting] down with My Father [on] His throne. He, [who has] an ear, let him hear what the [Holy] Spirit [says] to the churches. |
