About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: Since the Lord had it on my heart to write this blog, I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Isaiah Comes to Hezekiah, Who is Deathly Sick

Isaiah 38:1-22                               The Book of Isaiah [in Smaller Chunks]

[King] Hezekiah was sick, & [near] to death, in those days. And Isaiah, the prophet, [Amoz'] son, came to [Hezekiah] & said to him, the Lord [says this, Put] your house in order: for you [shall] not live, & [shall] die. 

Then, Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, & prayed to the Lord, & said, O Lord, I [beg] You, remember now, how I have walked, [a.k.a. followed,] before You in truth, & with a perfect, [a.k.a. blameless,] heart, & have done [what] is good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept [severely.]

Then, the Word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, Go, & say to Hezekiah, The Lord, the God of David, your [forefather, says this,] I have heard your prayer, & I have seen your tears. [Watch,] I will add 15 years to your [life.] And I will deliver you, & this city out of the hand of [Assyria's] king, & I will defend this city.

And this shall be a sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that He [has] spoken. [Look,] I will bring the shadow of the sun dial of Ahaz, down 10 degrees backward again. So, the sun returned, [a.k.a. went back,] 10 degrees, by which [the sun dial measured the] degrees it [had] gone down. 

The writing of Hezekiah, [Judah's] king, when he had been sick, & [had] recovered [from] his sickness. I said [when] my days [were being] [cut] off, I shall go to the gates of the grave. I'm deprived of the [rest] of my years. 

I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living. I shall no [longer see] man with the inhabitants of the world. [My] age is [soon] departed, & is removed from me [like] a shepherd's tent [gets moved.] 

My life [has] [been] been cut off, like [with] a [weaver's] [scissors.] He will cut me off, with sickness, [wasting away] from day, even to night, & You [will] make an end of me. I [considered until] morning, that, [like] a lion [breaks the bones of his prey,] so will He break all my bones: from day even to night, & You [will] make an end of me. 

I [chattered] like a crane or a swallow, & I [mourned like] a dove. [My] eyes fail with looking upward: O Lord, I'm oppressed, [step in] for me. What shall I say? He [has] both: spoken to me, & [has] done it Himself.

I shall [walk carefully] all my years, in the bitterness of my soul. O Lord, men live by these things. [Deuteronomy 8:2-3 And you [shall] remember all the [ways that] the Lord your God led you these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble you, & to [test] you, to know what was in your heart, whether you [would] keep His commandments, or [not.] 

And He humbled you, & [allowed] you to hunger, & fed you with manna, which you [didn't know.] Neither did your [forefathers know [it; so] that He might make you know that man [doesn't] live by bread [alone,] but man [lives] by every Word that [proceeds] out of the mouth of the Lord.] 

The spirit of my life is in all these things, so You [will] [have] me recover, & make me live. [See, in peacetime,] I had great bitterness: but You [have,] [out of] love [for] my soul, [a.k.a. life,] delivered it from the corruption of the pit. For You [have thrown] all my sins behind Your back. [Jeremiah 50:20 The Lord [says:] In those days, [during] that time, the iniquity, [a.k.a. sinfulness,] of Israel shall be sought for, & there shall be none. And the sins of Judah, [shall be sought for,] & they shall not be found. For I will pardon [those] whom I reserve, [a.k.a. set aside.]

For the grave can't praise You, & death can't celebrate You. [Those who] go down into the pit can't hope for Your Truth. [John 14:6 Jesus said to [Thomas,] I Am: the Way, The Truth, & the Life. No man [comes] to the Father, [except] by Me.] 

The living, & He, the Living [God,] shall praise you, [like] I do this day. [Isaiah 8:18-19 [Look,] the children whom the Lord [has] given me, & I, are for signs, & wonders in Israel, from the Lord of Hosts, [Who dwells] in Mount Zion. And when they shall say to you, Seek to [those, who] have familiar spirits, [a.k.a. talk to the dead;] & to wizards [who] peep & mutter, shouldn't a people seek to their God? For the Living [God,] & [not] to the dead?]

The father shall make known Your Truth to the children. [Psalm 78:2-4 *I will open My mouth in a parable. I will utter dark sayings of old; which we have heard & known, & our [forefathers] have told us. We won't hide them from their children, [declaring] to the generation to come, the praises of the Lord, His strength, & His wonderful works, [a.k.a. miracles,] that He [has] done.]

The Lord was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs [along with] the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the [Lord's] house. 

For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, & lay it [as a plaster] upon the boil, & he shall recover. Also, Hezekiah had [previously] said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the Lord? [Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, & neither the Son of Man, that He should repent: He [has] said, & shall He not do it? Or [has] He spoken, & shall He not make it good?]
