About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

The Things the Lord's Done to Get Israel to Return to Him

Amos 4:1-13                        The Book of Amos [in Smaller Chunks]

Hear this Word, You, [cows] of Bashan, that are [on] the mountain of Samaria, [who:] oppress the poor, & crush the needy, & say to their masters, Bring [wine] & let's drink. The Lord God has sworn by His Holiness, that the days shall come upon you, that He will take you away with hooks, & your [descendants] with fish hooks.

[Jeremiah 16:16-18 The Lord says, [Look,] I will send for many fishers, & they shall fish [for] them. And after, I will send for many hunters & they shall hunt them from every mountain & from every hill, & out of the holes [in] the rocks. For [My] eyes are upon all their ways, & they aren't [hidden] from My face, neither is their [sin hidden] from [My] eyes.

And I will 1st [repay] their [sinfulness,] & their sin double; because they have defiled My land, & they have filled [My] inheritance with the [corpses] of their detestable & abominable things.]

And you shall go out [through the broken wall] [like] every cow [follows what] is [in front of] her. And you shall cast them into the palace. [Jeremiah 32:2 For then, the king of Babylon's army, [attacked] Jerusalem. And Jeremiah, the prophet, was shut up in the [courtyard] of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house, [a.k.a. palace.]

Come to Beth El & [sin.] [1 Kings 12:28-30 [Upon which,] king [Jeroboam] [got advice] & made 2 calves of gold, & said to [the Israelites,] It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem [to sacrifice.]

[Look,] these are you gods, O Israel, [that] brought you up, out of the land of Egypt. And [Jeroboam put] 1 in Beth El, & he put the other in Dan. And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even to Dan.]

Multiply [your] [sinfulness] at Gilgal. And bring your sacrifices every morning & your [10%] tithes after 3 years. [Amos 3:14 On that day, that I shall visit, [a.k.a. punish] the [sins] of Israel upon him, I will also visit the altars of Beth El. And the horns of the altar there shall be cut off, & fall to the ground.]

And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, [a.k.a. yeast,] & proclaim & [declare] the free [will] offerings, for you like this, O you children [people] of Israel, says the Lord God. [Leviticus 7:13 [In addition] to the cakes, he shall offer for his offering: leavened bread, with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his Peace Offerings.]

And I also in your cities, have given you [clean] teeth, [because of] the lack of bread in all your places. [Still,] you haven't returned to Me, says the Lord. And I also have [withheld] the rain from you, when there were [still] 3 months [until] the harvest.

And I caused it to rain upon 1 city, & caused it not to rain upon another city. One [plot of land] was rained upon, & 1 [plot wasn't] & it withered. So, [those from] 2 or 3 cities wandered to [another] city, to drink water: but they weren't satisfied. [Still,] you haven't returned to Me, says the Lord.

I have [struck] you with [blight] & mildew & when your: gardens & vineyards, fig trees, & olive trees increased, the palmer-worm devoured them. [Still,] you haven't returned to Me, says the Lord.

I have sent among you the pestilence, [like] the [type] of Egypt. I have slain your young men, with the sword, & have taken away your horses. And I have made the stink of your camps to come up [into] your nostrils. [Still,] you haven't returned to Me, says the Lord.

I have overthrown some of you, [like] God overthrew Sodom & Gomorrah, & you were [like] a [branding iron] plucked out of the burning [fire,] & [still,] you haven't returned to Me, says the Lord. [Isaiah 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' [excellence,] shall be [like] when God overthrew Sodom & Gomorrah.]

Therefore, I will do [this] to you, O Israel. And because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel. For, [look,] He, [Who] formed the mountains, & [created] the wind, & declares to man what His [thoughts are.] [Who] makes the morning darkness, & [walks] upon the high places of the earth,

The Lord, The God of Hosts, is His Name. [Daniel 2:28 But there is a God in heaven, [Who] reveals secrets, & makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar, what shall [happen in] the [later] days. Your dream & the visions of your [mind] upon your bed, are these.]
