About the Author of the Blogsite, Not the Author of the Bible: I was uncertain of how to accomplish this, mindful of Revelation 22:18-19, which says that nobody is to add to, or to take away from what was written in the Bible. After lots of prayerful contemplation, the Lord had it on my heart that I’m not to change the meaning of what is written in the Bible. He has also shown ways to add to people’s understating of that meaning, without altering the meaning, by putting that info within [brackets]. This is primarily accomplished with the KJV Bible and lots of prayers, but at times, BibleGateway.com, Biblehub.com, NIV Bible, Webster Dictionary, and other internet resources, as needed. About Understanding the Bible:

Understanding the Bible: After reading Isaiah 28:10 many times over the years and not totally understanding it, it recently became apparent to me that the Lord God has this passage as the means for understanding the Bible. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10 KJV. Being prayerful about this passage, and looking up 'precept' in the Webster's Dictionary, it gave this passage a whole new meaning, once 'commandment' is substituted for 'precept'. Within brackets are additional words the Lord had on my heart to aid in understanding the meaning. For commandment must be [built up] upon commandment; commandment upon commandment; line upon line, line upon line; [developing understanding] here a little, and there a little.

The Table Format:

The Table Format: I was overwhelmed with how to explain the process for determining if someone had leprosy in Leviticus 13, which seemed very complicated. After praying, "Lord, if this is difficult for me to understand after reading it many times, how can this be explained to others?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was for me to put it into a vertical chart to visually see the process. This made it much easier for me to follow the progression. After doing so, I prayed, "Lord, how can this be conveyed to readers, so that they can understand this process?" The thought the Lord God had on my heart was to put it within the lines of a table. Being a stiff-necked, stubborn person, as it's often called in the Bible, I prayed, asking the Lord God if He's sure that's really what He wanted me to do? I reluctantly put Leviticus 13 into a table format. When I read this difficult leprosy process within a table format, it suddenly became easier for me to understand. That's because it builds line upon line, as explained in the Understanding the Bible section. Shortly after that, the Lord God had it on my heart, to put all of The Books of the Bible in Smaller Chunks within a table format, to aid in understanding, line upon line.

Paul Leaves Athens & Preaches in Other Areas

Acts 18:1-28                    The Acts of the Apostles [in Smaller Chunks]

After these things, Paul [left] from Athens, & came to Corinth; & found a Jew named, Aquila, born in Pontus, [a.k.a. Turkey,] [who] [recently came] from Italy, with his wife, Priscilla; (because Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome,) & [Paul went] to them.

And because [Paul] was of the same craft, [a.k.a. profession,] he [stayed] with them, & [worked.] For they were tentmakers, by their occupation. And [Paul] reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath & persuaded the Jews & Greeks, [a.k.a. Gentiles.]

And when Silas & Timotheus, [a.k.a. Timothy, had] come from Macedonia, Paul was [compelled by] the Spirit, & testified to the Jews, that Jesus was Christ. And when they [disputed] [among] themselves, & blasphemed, [Paul] shook his [garment,] & said to them, [Let] your [bloodshed] be upon your own heads. I am clean: & from [now on,] I will go to the Gentiles. [Acts 13:45-46 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, & [spoke] against those things Paul [had] spoken, [by:] contradicting & blaspheming [them.] Then, Paul & Barnabas [grew] bold, & said, It was necessary that the Word of God should 1st have been spoken to you. But seeing [that] you put it [away] from [yourselves,] & judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting Life, [look,] we turn to the Gentiles.]

And [Paul] departed [from] [there,] & entered into a house [of a] [man] named Justus, [someone who] worshiped God, & whose [household was firmly united with] the synagogue. And Crispus, the [synagogue's leader,] believed [in] the Lord, with all his [household.] And many of the Corinthians [who heard,] believed, & were baptized.

Then, the Lord [spoke] to Paul in the night, by a vision, [Don't] be afraid, & [don't] hold your peace, but speak. For I Am with you, & no man shall [attack] you, to [harm] you. For I have [many] people in this city. [Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; for I Am with you, to deliver you, [says] the Lord.]

And [Paul] continued there 1 ½ years, teaching the Word of God among them. And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, [a.k.a. Greece,] the Jews [stirred up a revolt, united] against Paul.

And brought [Paul] to the judgment seat, saying, This fellow [persuades] men to worship God, contrary, [a.k.a. in opposition,] to the Law. And when Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, If it were [just] a matter of wrong [doing] or [wickedness,] there would [be a] reason that I should bear, [a.k.a. put up with,] you.

But, if [it's] a question of words & names, & your Law, you look [into] it. For I won't judge such matters. [Acts 25:19 But [some] had questings against Paul, [about] their own [religion,] & [about] One Jesus, [Who] was dead, & [Whom] Paul [confirmed] to be alive.]

And [Gallio drove] them from the judgment seat. Then, all the Greeks, [a.k.a. Gentiles,] took the [leader] of the synagogue, Sosthenes, & beat him, [in front of] the judgment seat. And Gallio [didn't] care [about] [any] of those things. And after this, Paul [stayed] there a good while.

And then took his leave [from] his brethren, & sailed [from] [there] into Syria, with Priscilla & Acquila. Having shorn, [a.k.a. shaved,] his head in Cenchrea, for [Paul] had a vow. And [Paul] came to Ephesus, & left them there.

But [Paul,] entered into the synagogue himself, & reasoned with the Jews. When they desired [for] [Paul] to [stay] [a] longer time with them, He [didn't agree to it.] But [Paul,] [bid] them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that [happens] in Jerusalem.

But I will return again to you, if [it's] [God's] will, & [Paul] sailed from Ephesus. And when [Paul] landed [in] Caesarea, & [went] up, & [greeted] the church, he went down to Antioch. And after [Paul] had spent some time there, he [left] & went over all the [countryside] of: Galatia & Phrygia in order, to [strengthen] all the disciples.

And an eloquent, [a.k.a. persuasive,] man, a Jew named Apollos, born [in] Alexandria, [who was] mighty [with] the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. [Apollos] only [knew about] the baptism of John, & was instructed in the [ways] of the Lord.

And being [passionate] in the Spirit, [Apollos spoke,] & diligently, [a.k.a. enthusiastically,] & taught the things [about] the Lord. And [Apollos] began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila & Priscilla had heard [Apollos,] they took him with them, & [explained] to him, more perfectly [about] God.

And when [Apollos] was [intending] to [go] into Achaia, the brethren, [a.k.a. fellow-believers,] wrote, [appealing] [to] the disciples to receive, [a.k.a. accept or welcome,] him.

When [Apollos had] come, & helped [those,] [very] much [who] believed through grace. For he [publically] convinced the Jews mightily [with evidence] [through] the Scriptures, that Jesus [is] Christ. [Isaiah 53:6-8 *All we like sheep have gone astray. We have, everyone, turned to his own [ways.] And the Lord [has] laid on Him the [sin] of us all. He was oppressed, & He was afflicted, & [still] He [didn't open] His mouth. He is brought [like] a lamb to the slaughter, & [like] a sheep is [mute] before [its] shearers, so He [didn't open] His mouth. *He was taken from prison & from judgment, [a.k.a. justice,] & who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living: He was [struck] for the [sins] of My people.]
